Something different then, I’ve read an article at the Daily Mail site about a big found in some shed somewhere in France, some teacher had hide several cars when WW2 was raging across Europe…
These cars had been discovered just recently, although they were beyond saving…
Can’t seem to find the article anymore though…due to my computer capabilities no doubt
Hey Patrick, where have you been hiding these pictures? Some amazing leads being transported. Not knowing much about Convoy Exceptionel when are additional lorries required on the rear and front? Is it weight dependent, terrain or a combination?

I’ve got a decent sized storage cabinet mate
To be honest, don’t know how that worked in the old days but it really comes down to what’s been stated in the permit, weight, and terrain conditions.
Think the standard nowadays is an gross weight of 250t with just the one tractor pulling, although Volvo claims they can pull up to 350t with just the one wagon
But if it’s in rough terrain, or when you have to climb or decent over a longer period it’s quite common to use a pusher at the back, this to increase stopping capabilities as well…
I will ask one of the (heavier) lads next week about it, since I’ve never passed the 100t mark…(came close though )
“De belles brochettes de photos”, as we’d say in French!
Any idea what is the make of the truck on 1st picture of your 7.20 pm batch yesterday? At first glance, I would have said Loheac or eventually Miesse (Belgian trucks), but I’ve never seen 6x4 tractors by either of these manufacturers.
