I remember the last T6 to be scrapped (yes, none were preserved, but remember we’re in France…) indeed belonged to Millon, a heavy transport contractor based in Lyon. So probably your picture features that truck.
The double-decker “Cityrama” coach was built by Currus on a Citroën 55 chassis in 1955 for sightseeing tours in Paris. I remember it was still around in the early '60s. More about it here: aventure-citroen-min.forumchti.c … yrama-1955
PV 83, yes it’s the same company but not the same owner, nowadays a son of one Brame 's brother has bought the company which was at the time of the Man picture in the hands of Transak from Sarreguemines.
Yes! I used to see this in Paris when I was working there many years ago. It was in regular use too. The extraordinary body seemed to stand up to it surprisingly well. The French liked wierd, at least to my eyes, creations like this.
Looks like a Renault by the shape of the bonnet. Any idea when the main photo was taken? Seems to be late 1940s to me but I’m probably wrong, as usual.

ROF,
On the right hand side of picture there is an Austin Loadstar artic, I think they are from the 1950’s, but I may be like you, wrong as usual!!
Days are long gone when you could take the kids with you on a trip…H&S and insurance will have put a stop to the majority of it, yet kids loved it, school holidays and travelling abroad…all but gone…

Too cold to do owt else Pierre…wet and miserable these past few days…whacked a set of front disc’s and pads on the old Pug on Saturday, and that’s about it work wise…
Its the same here today mate, tipping it down all day, knobheads on phone wanting everything yesterday and for next to nothing, the weather may change from time to time but anything to do with transport never changes!
I’ve seen plenty of twin spires in France over the years, but that one seems to be in a small rural town. Is it local to you Fergie?
Not a number plate in sight to give a clue.

Looks like Chartres cathedral to me…
And that roadsign on the RN 10 further up the page: I must have driven past that hundreds of times! Robert

Yes Robert, it’s Chartres…by the look of the cars I’d guess maybe late '50’s or early '60’s.?

Is this a T6 as well?
