No you haven’t,… it keeps it alive,… it’s probably the only thread with so many diverse photos of lorries from all over Europe, and for those older drivers, (and younger ones) who’ve never been abroad with a wagon, then it’s an eye opener to see the pics and hear the stories…thank you for taking the effort to post them, and for your tales of your trip’s…
No apologies necessary here guys. The most enjoyable and awesome photos on Trucknet. I look at them over and over again.
Thanks a million - and glad these loads and wagons are being recorded and shared. Jim.
PS I stood in for the regular mate on an old Mkv AEC Mammoth Major pulling D8s and graders etc. Sorry no pics, I thought we were big!

Cheers for the kind words lads!
Never thought that there where so many others looking and hoping for “new” footage of today’s and yester years transports…
And stories…well I’ve got a few…will post some pic’s and the stories that go with it in some weeks time…
Sorry to hear you haven’t got any pic’s jmc jr, cause honestly, a brute AEC Mammoth pulling a CAT D8, now that’s something I want to see
Cheers, Patrick
On page 131 Pete posted a pic of a Bolk unit, now I’ve got some pic’s of them, absolute immaculate and tidy fleet and their history goes back some 80 odd years…
Anyone on here saw this “vehicle” before…?

Forth pic down of Bloks F89 with 40 ft tilt…the epitome of the '70’s…a definite “nostalgic photo” for the week…

Indeed they were! 13 were produced in all, 3 of them had their petrol engine changed for a diesel. The protruding radiator indicates that a diesel Berliet engine was fitted. This one had a second life as a wrecker.
Berliet produced two T12 8x8 tractors, also for the army. Only two prototypes were made. 25 tonnes kerbweight, with 4 sparewheels and a big winch to hoist tanks on its semi-trailer.
Its engine was a huge petrol V12 issued from the coupling of 2 T6 Rochet engines; 450 bhp at 2200 rpm. All pictures are from Special Issue n°51 of Charge Utile Magazine.
Hiya Froggy,
Is this a T6 as well?
