Going there first time later, any tips/pitfalls?

Done ambient a few times, straight on bay and tipped, normally in and out in an hour.
not the happiest people, but pretty good tip usually.
depending on who you work for, when you walk round to get your notes, check your pin before you pull off…
Been a couple of cases of drivers having it pulled while vehicle is unattended.

I’ve only gone there with a fridge and been in and out pretty quick, never had me pin pulled though.

Check the one on the unit as well.
Don’t leave engine running at gatehouse and don’t leave truck in queue - wait til you get to barrier. Usually quick tip esp January! You will get map and instruction sheet at gatehouse if you explain first visit. Lock on dock procedures - remove keys from ignition and hang on clip alongside dock - they will reappear when dock light turns green. No access to canteen but you can get coffee 20p in drivers book on room by traffic office.
Easiest to come off J26/M25 and back that way. Go to J26 cafe for best bacon buttie ever! 
A shame sainsburys no longer takes on perm drivers. Whatever happened to that fella on here, an agency bod with sainsburys, waiting to be took on? Trainee pilot as well I think he was? Whatever he’s been quite lately, shafted by awr lol.

Nobodys pulling pins that I have ever heard of anywhere on any site. 
Apart from there own of course. 
this is sainsburys place in the 20/20 business park? if so any time i have been going there its a drop one trailer lift another pretty qucik as well usually in and out in 25mins if the trailer thats being lifted is ready. takes a while at the gate though with mohamed and his mate explaining to you how to yous the padlock for the airline lol

How do you get through the swipe card operated door at the top of the staircase that leads along the long corridor to the canteen? If a member of staff allows you through the’re in bother.
