I was not allowed to wear rigger boots because they supposedly don’t provide enough ankle support BUT wellies are fine.

Stupid

Thanks for that, I won’t know what boots i’ll be getting just yet as I have until the 25th of this month to find out (Pay day  ) Today wasn’t too bad, although to be fair I took my time this morning. Although I think I over did it this afternoon

Cheers

I got about 4 pairs of dickies under the bed they hurt your ankles.

I can vouch for that I work i a catering stores at a theme park and I bought a pair of dickies last week wore them 2 days this week and now dont want to wear them again the steel toe cap rubbed on my toes and as you say they kill your ankles. I’m now looking at getting a pair of steel capped shoes from nisbets a catering supplier I had a pair from them years ago and can say they were the best Ive had comfy and hard wearing plus oil and slip resistant and waterproof. they are only about £20 a pair too

Either in black and greay or navy and yellow.

They are around £20 - £30 in most industrial clothing shops or on most markets.
