Safe overnighting

I might be going out on a limb here, but my guess is, backed up by the avatar of a Volvo that doesn’t exist and a Porsche that belongs to somebody else, there is no Karla.

I was thinking the same…just the other day.

Wouldn’t advise whitwood, noisy as hell, redbecks close by, never used it personally but there’s normally at least 3 of ours parked up and never heard a bad word.

just send us some old pics of random strangers from old holidays and that should suffice for even the most pernickity of tncsi members.
always prudent not to be provng who you are when you run with a more flexible attitude to rules and regs than the uk plobbers.

Exactly DD. I find questioning my identity laughable . A truck driver , hardly a jet setting ■■■■■■■ :grimacing:
Re the FH, its the only new truck ive ever even owned, the rest have always been someone elses hand me downs.
Maybe i should have really engrossed myself in some jackanory stuff like owning a whole fleet of trucks :stuck_out_tongue:

Well your thought process is coming to the top
It’s the truck you’re worried about you might have said that in your first post
You are in the wrong business if you’re worried about a truck it’s like if anything happens i am ■■■■■■, and that’s what it sounds like
The only answer is to drive it yourself all the time
And do that it won’t be long to burn out and your truck will still be there after

Well your certainly not from Norfolk or you’d be including your mum , sister and cousins in you list of relationships

Dapper dipper, bking, Dozy, Conor, switch, muckles and Robroy

Note the sensible ones all sport shorts.

actually quite a reasonable choice i would think.
do they make mini newcastle united shirts with a built in humph■■?

AndrewG:
Not quite sure where youre coming from here

To be a good liar you need to have a very good memory. Your posts just don’t add up. While I have no reason to doubt your resume from back in the nineties, you really should go back and see what you have written about yourself in your own posts back in 2016.

Running at 44 tons @ 5axles @ 100kph on underground Belorussian fuel… yeah mate, you’ve got it going on

Jack-knife:
I’m unfamiliar with the ratchet strap and crowbar method?
If DD would care to explain

Put a clean ratchet strap through the door handles and tighten up (not too much or you pull the bloody door liners s off!) put ratchet handle in centre of cab so can’t be reached if they break the window

That gives you time for dragging the crowbar out from under the seat and smacking the ■■■■■■ with it!

DD?

Youre welcome to call me a liar, thats totally :sunglasses: by me. I really dont have to justify myself to you or anyone for that matter, carry on, it just goes :arrow_right: :arrow_right: :arrow_right: way over my head…

To all those that have taken the time to reply, its much appreciated, i now have list of options, one of which im sure will suffice, cheers

You really don’t wanna know?

It was a perfect que for one of his classic innuendos.
Which always make me LoL.
He didn’t fail to deliver.

Thank you - I was worried I had missed something

Yep - he never fails to make me laugh as well

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Ill google map some of these so shes got a few options. Im not bothered re cost its relative safety for her im a little concerned about. Also, im confident in her abilities but this is the first time driving in the UK/on the left so also a little concerned here as well. Shes a good driver and im probably worried over nothing but cant help this one niggling me a little…

She will come up the A1 to the M62, there’s some roadworks and cameras up along that stretch, just after the M1 junction still on the M62 the hard shoulder becomes an extra lane during peak times, it’s also camera’d up for those using it when they shouldn’t, the Lay-bys at brighouse aren’t the best for an overnight stop, her best place would be to go to the Cross Green Ind Est in Leeds, it’s a little off route, but there’s plenty of places to park and there’s a security patrol car that does the rounds as well as cctv, bottom of Knowsthorpe Way Leeds Ls9 0sw.
