I expect so as they stopped doing shelf filling at Tesco some time back

I worked for them… For a dayTrailer full of tiles came all the way from Italy (if memory serves me correctly) I took it over at Cardiff West Services and on to its final destination in Swansea, One pallet was refused as it had tipped over onto its side (fair enough, can’t blame the guy) I phoned it in and some old [zb] in the office started ranting and raving at me saying it was my fault and I should learn to drive properly and that pallet of very expensive slate tiles would come off my pay
Drove back to the yard [zb]ing tamping walked into the office and tore the miserable git a new arse hole (whilst another guy in the office was trying to get it through to the old git that the original driver had a) reported the dodgy pallet when it was loaded and b) confirmed on the phone before I’d even been assigned the changeover that yes the dodgy pallet had in fact tipped over)
Old git then walked off without so much as a grunt of an apology, in all fairness two other guys in the office were apologizing profusely to me and asking me to reconsider jacking (which I’d already told them I was going to do by this stage) but I said to them if he freaks out like this when I’m not at fault what the hell is he going to be like if I actually do make a mistake (and lets face it we all will at some stage) so with that I walked out the office and unpacked my gear and went home.
Also the vehicle assigned to me for international work was a low roofed FH which was in a [zb] state but I’d have worked around that and tidied it up as best as I could inside but still it didn’t set the mood from the start if I’m honest.
Sounds like you didn’t really give it a go as obviously had a bad day but surely any job you needs to be given a couple of weeks to see what it’s like.
spoke to a couple of there drivers in SVG Nuess autohof in germany and although pay wasn`t discussed they seemed awefully happy tbh. chatted a few hours over a couple of cheeky beers and would rather do that than sit talking to the boring sods in an RDC who been everywhere and done nothing 
They advertise jobs permanently 
End they have now 09 plate ex Mc Burney’s Volvos wow 
One of there Volvo’s overtook me a while ago with the nearside lift axle wheel missing.

So it’s a waste of time trying to get a job there?
Not at all, there isn’t any harm in seeing what they are all about, yes you’ve heard my story and a few others opinions but at the end of the day you’re big enough and ugly enough (as my dear ol’ Dad likes to say) to make up your own mind.
My experience with them happened over 6 maybe 7 yrs ago, I don’t know if they are still the same, better, or worse, but you have the opportunity to find out.

Guy asked for opinions I gave mine, I also advised that he find out for himself
And I said don’t take the word of ex-employees as gospel. Not necessarily you.

You are not told how much the truck earns.
I thought incentives were illegal ?The bulk tipper boys flying around on load bonus,hence not adhering to speed limits.
