WOW RM drivers are not liked on this forum at all , ive been running out of HWDC RM in Langley (heathrow) working for manpower for the past 9 months , its a nice easy job that pays pretty good as well, all the other drivers are helpful and friendly its a world away from some of the other transport company i have worked for . regarding the shifts they can be from 8 hours to 14 hours long , days , afternoons or nights you don’t really get to choose the agency calls and gives you your shifts for the next week …
I regularly deliver and collect from Royal Mail , Jubilee Ctr Hounslow, Harrow and Mount Pleasant in EC1.
Not a problem with attitude, regulars and agency just get on with it. You would be amazed if you saw how much freight goes through this time of year.
As for that video of the bridge in Guildford, it is poorly signed, and I have witnessed other trucks hit that, not just RM.
It amazes me how other drivers jump on the “crap agency” band wagon. They are all class 1, but they are given the crap jobs that full timers moan about.
OH, I am not agency now, but i did it for 3 years.
