yes its me folks still alive.
not a lot to say except that i havent been driving since i got here in iraq due to the fact that i am on another project involving mechanical work which i have absolutely no interest and an seriously thinking about jacking it in 
havent taken 1 picture yet nor kept a diary as it is so disheartening the way they treat you.only the money at the end of the mth is keeping me going.
will report again soon if i havent died of boredom.

just to let you all know i have been persevering with the work i have been forced to do but went and saw employee relations the other day and am going back to the other camp to drive and also the foreman there has been fired which is good

well what can i say! i finally managed to get back to camp Cedar and found that no one knew i was coming back .
went down to the so called Pickle Park the next dat and did bugger all apart from take a TCN to find a truck in one of the SUVs and then upload a tanker.
5hrs work paid for 12 .
Phil turned up at the hooch the next morning and woke me up so we went for brekky.decided not to go into work and nobody missed me so a day off for 12hrs pay lol
the following day i felt guilty about hiding for another day decided to wander down to the Pickle Park about 8am and went and loaded another tanker,when i got back to office i found out i was a last minute replacement on a convoy so went and packed a bag and we set off at 3pm for anaconda.
We stopped at Scania for dinner and 40mins later we set off again.we did not encounter any problems and arrived about 1.30 in the morning by that time i was a bit tired but still had to download and refuel truck and it was 4.30 b4 we parked up.went for brekky then back to truck to sleep did not have sleeping bag or curtains so slept in clothes woke up at 5pm and went for shower then dinner.we left at 8pm and got back to cedar at 2am and fueled up b4 parking then i get the news.
I am being transferred to camp Liberty at baghdad airport so 3 camps in less than 3 weeks.will arrive there wed eve and find out what my job is on thursday.

well here i am again what you havent missed me
my last report told you that i was being transfered to camp liberty which is by baghdad airport well i am still here 
it turns out that the truck side was just starting up so i was one of the first here.basically it is well laid back our foreman is from the same town as my mate phil so when they met up memories came flooding back for them.
at first there wasnt a lot to do as the trucks we had were needing work done on them so we just pottered about the yard.
each day new drivers would turn up and at the moment we have about 40.we also had 7 fuel tankers come and lo and behold i got put on one. its not bad as the furthest we go is about 40k.
have managed to walk around saddams palace in the international zone its a bit of a mess.
we did get an RPG fired at us but it went between 2 trucks and exploded harmlesly.
hopefully we will be having internet in our hooches sometime round the 10th sept so i can include some photos
sorry its a boring report but as i say we dont get out much
