Happened to me this morning. From what I’ve read on here this seems to be happening pretty often.Had my cruise control on 50mph. I kinda second guessed that he might go for it. Couldn’t move over, then out he came!

The one that pulled out on me last week on the A14 forced me to brake & swerve into lane 2 (thankfully I knew there was a gap) & then accelerate to stabilise the trailer.

Fellow lorry driver (nationality is immaterial) is attempting to join a fast moving dual carriageway from a standing start… thinks another fellow lorry driver will have been there and make allowances and help him out… other driver keeps it on cruise control and posts a video about how hard done by he is, Sorry chap only one person in the wrong here, the one with no consideration for the driver leaving the layby

Too many drivers sat on cruise control these days and to lazy to knock it off to show consideration for other drivers.
Jesus, you really had to put the anchors on there fella. You might want to get your tyres checked out for flat spots.
Give the guy a break will ya? It was way too close for comfort and only one step away from carnage! I had a similar near miss last week when travelling along the M1 near Kegworth and a bloody plane passed within 200 feet of my roof! Maniac. In fact it’s happened a few times to me there. I’ll get a dashcam and post the footage as soon as I can be bothered.
