Yeah it’s about time something was done about this crap. I wonder how much difference it’ll make though. The berks that come up with this, won’t be listening to what is in their opinion, a load of bike riding scruffs.
Good luck you got my total support regards rowly ward
I’m not taking my bike for this one, but I am taking the train down and heading to Horse guards parade on Good Friday. Not sure if it’ll make a difference, but I am sure that NOT doing anything isn’t an option!
Anyone who was in the government at the time should also then be held accountable …Im amazed how terrorists are being given letters to excuse them of atrocities ,but the poor sods who carried out the government of the times orders are being hung out to dry …And there was e thinking we where meant to be the good guys ,after all we where sent in to assist the catholic community
And I am an ex squaddie and brought up a catholic …beep beep religion the cause of all wars / conflicts …so much for god being o "our side "
I do apologise as it isn’t truck related
People being shot in the back by their own army isn’t doing your duty. Let the courts decide if this soldier is responsible for the murder of the person/s they were sent to protect.
90% of the killings in Northern Ireland were by terrorists
0% of those getting taken to court are from that 90%
Justice must be seen to be even handed

The first shot fired on Bloody Sunday was fired by a young Provo named Martin McGuiness. The people shot in the back were shot by the IRA hiding behind them using a stolen SLR. Stolen from dead body of a British soldier. A massive pr coup by the IRA.

Really. You need to get across there and let the enquiry know what you know.
Would that be the same enquiry that has cost the British taxpayer over £140 million pounds so far? Only one winner there then. I know what I know from numerous tours of the province, I take it that your info comes straight from social media?

First of all McGuinness said he wasn’t there, then when reports come out about him firing the first shots suddenly he can give evidence if asked. How could he give evidence if he wasn’t there.
He wouldn’t recognise the truth if it was nailed to his head!

The Government’s time and the taxpayers cash would be better spent tracking down these absolute ■■■■ s ! …who call themselves ‘British’ , who fought for Isis in Syria and against our own Army in Afghan, and who have infested us by living back among us.
It does not matter to the powers that be that the indigenous population are up in arms about all this, it’s the same situation with that Royal Marine Sergeant that was jailed a couple of years ago… but on the other hand they must not be seen to upset the relgious minorities among us.
Good old UK once again eh?
(If that comes across as racism on my part, tough ■■■■, as I know that I’m not racist, and that’s good enough for me.)

Don’t know how anybody could defend children being shot in the back. Obviously a case to answer for this soldier. Let the law take its course.

Children? Of course nobody could defend children being shot dead, but let’s take a look at the youngest victim that day shall we? A “child” by the name of Gerald Donaghey aged 17. Donaghey had previously served a 6 month prison sentence for violence and rioting, when shot he was found to be in possession of four homemade nail bombs. Yep, children. Btw, the soldier who shot him was eight months older!

Yeh, but don’t let the truth get in the way of good defence rhetoric for the liberal left wet lettuces mate.

He didn’t serve a sentence for violence though did he. You’ve just put that in there to prove your point. The sentence was for riotous assembly, and if you can recall the period of the Troubles, they’d lift anyone at any time. No different to the army planting nail bombs on the victim to prove theirs. Not like it’s ever been done before, is it? And yes the law classes 17 years of age as a child. And the other two 17 year olds that were shot in the back.
