Cab didn’t look too bad on drivers side .was in the road works so narrow lanes and the near side barrier was new so prob freshly dug verge .gonna be there a while as they are hand balling the load off

Says milk all over the road. Wiseman’s ?

When I went past it earlier they had a skip behind it and in process of unloading it. Looks like they were taking fruit or veg out

Arr I was clocking that carnage on the traffic master app whilst I was wafting through Wales with nothing but trees & sheep for company.

I set off from preston at 12:15 heading for bedford. I hit the tailback about 13:15 and travelled 2 miles in 2 hours, im now stuck on keele services and just heard its expected to reopen at 7. Said to TM, shall i book off here and stay the night, travel in the morning but reimburse my parking charge and he said no, wait till its finished and get as far as you can and find somewhere free… im still sat on keele, on pay… jokes on him because il end up staying anyway due to my 15hrs… no c sense whatsoever! :unamused:

Looks grim heading South on the M6 this evening :frowning:

If you’ve been there more than 2 hours you might as well stay…since he’ll be getting charged for parking anyway

Past it south bound about 7.30 this morning took about an hour to get through it so i must have been not to far behind it looked like he run off the road into the soft verge i would imagine it fliped him when he managed to get it back on the road be carefull out there chaps there but for the grase of god go i as they say hope he was ok

I love how frustrated drivers stuck in traffic jams always know how best to sort the situation out.

It was a bad crash that needed investigating, lots of spillage including diesel to mop up, a wreck to recover and plenty of damaged central reservation to repair. It’s going to take a while. The “shift it and reopen the road” brigade and utterly clueless. And the people in the comments there have a point - it is often crashed HGVs closing the motorways.

Most of the comments are from truck drivers complaining about the the clear up time, ,

Years ago when i was giddy on loading shovels in the quarries an old hand told me
“If you don’t make a mess you don’t have to clear it up”

Very, very, very, very slowly much too slowly if they had anything about them the “authorities” are building up intelligence of incidents/debris ie straps, shed loads types of incidents etc involving lgvs and unless truckers get their act together and sort things out they are going to get their @rse nailed to the floor more and more in an attempt to prevent incidents happening with the associated chaos and disruption

Absolutely ■■■■■ you off when you get slated by the public for doing you job with comments like sheites of the road well ■■■■ you sir I’m sure car drivers would change their attitude if we all went on strike for a week and nothing was delivered but hey that’s a dream back to reality looks like we will have to put up with these ■■■■■ a bit longer

The standard of car driving in this country is w@nk something needs to be done about it not just CCTV in vehicles a proper education course ■■■■■■■■ to the cpc for truckers how’s about a cpc for car drivers amount we must see on the phone - that really rags me off

It wouldn’t take a week dafpower. I reckon two days and panic would set in.

The standard of car driving is truly abysmal in many cases, however the standard if truck driving is also often far from the professional level it should be.

There is an element that if you pay peanuts you get monkeys, but all the same truck drivers should be a higher standard than your average joe, and there are far too many trucks driving into the back of each other and falling asleep at the wheel.

Bigger vehicle bigger mess it makes
