Hi everyone,
Sat the national and international yesterday, the international regs and the different laws was an eye opener.
I really think that I have pulled it off, but will let you know. Scenario much easier this time round, but did not have a problem with the scenario last year. Finally fully understand all about the finance part. Mutli-choice questions went ok. So fingers crossed I will have both parts in about 4 weeks.

Was your resit case study similar to the one I mentioned above?

Scenario

  4. Over 15 hours total day
  5. 3rd break 45 min after just 2 hrs,

Question 2.
Cost out Standing costs and Running costs for class 2 run.
Standing Costs = £33960 / 300days = £113.20
Running Costs = 40.75p x 600Km = £244.50
Total Costs = £357.70

Question 3.
Organisation Chart
Gerenal Manager
Sales Manager - 2 sales admin - 2 sales reps - 4 customer services
Personnel Manager - 2 wages clerks - 4 accounts clerks
Transport Manager - 2 traffic supervisers - 1 route planner - 88 drivers - 2 security. Works foreman - 1 yardman - 2 fork-lifts

Question 4.

I got 7 then added in about the wheel nuts.

Question 5.

Looking and trying to decipher my notes i got.

£45k Vehicle cost
-Tyres 6 x £200
=£43800
-residual £16000
=£27800
/ 5 Years
= £5560 per year
£18.53 per day Plus driver £70 per day Plus Standing costs at £7400 per year / 300 days usage = £24.60

Total £113.13PD

Running Costs

Tyres 6 x £200 / 40000kms py = £0.03pkm
Fuel £1.15 per ltr / 4km pltr = £0.0460pkm
Lubes £0.025 per km
= £0.472pkm
i think it was 600km in total so £283.2

£113.13
+
£283.2
+
£396.33

Could be way wrong to be honest but thats what i can work out from my notes
