We’ll be having a convoy up to the show from South Wales starting on the Saturday morning to arrive early afternoon like last year.
Plan is to meet in picnic area on A40 between Raglan and Monmouth at 11.00am and pick others up along route via Ross on Wye, M50, M5 south, A46 Evesham, Stratford, M40.
Anyone taking their truck to the show wishing to join us please get in touch with me.

Just to let you know we have exceeded the amount of truck entries that we had last year and we still have two weeks to go!!! If you are bringing your truck please make sure you book in advance as it is only £10.00, if you turn up on the day you will have to pay gate price, which for driver and passenger is £28!!! This is Gaydon’s ruling and I cannot get around it even if you are my mate!!!

though I am fairly sure it was owned from new by a graham Andrews from Norfolk-ish 
she was on the cover of a trucking international magazine in the mid-80’s.though it wouldn’t be the first time I have got it wrong

I see Volvo plan to launch their new FH12 model this week, what are the chances of one being on their stand at the Retro show? Any one know how many are in the UK for the launch■■?

I doubt if there would be one at the retro m8.the launch is an Internet based affair,so all the trucks are probably in Sweden? They don’t plan on selling any in the uk until spring 2013.it would have been really cool to see one at the retro though.

I watched the FH12 launch via U tube, it was screened for all to see, must say VERY impressive affair!, had a bit of a Euro Vision theme , over to you Denmark… as they flicked between countries. There are 2 new FH’s in Warwick, so you never know, they may bring them to the Retro, as it the only big truck show after Truckfest this weekend for 2012. How cool would that be!
