Not long now
About 6 weeks I believe.
Hi Everyone,
There appears to be a rumour going round that the Retro Show has been cancelled. This is definitely not the case, it is going ahead as planned, it will definitely not be cancelled regardless of how much liquid sunshine we have!! There are many trucks booked in and bookings arriving daily. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!! if anyone needs an application form please e-mail me on erbiegtec@aol.com.
Many thanks cushtytopline143.
Glad to hear it Lee, we are all still very much looking forward to the show.
Neil.
What I like about the Retro show is that any of the exhibits could do a days work.
Muckaway:
My birthday’s about a week before so hoping the wife will buy tickets instead of socks…
Does anyone know if the ex Andrew Henderson Merc SK will be there? Family friend drove it for years.
hi muckaway due to the fact we ve vacated our unit the ex henderson merc wont be at the retro this year .
ive just been refused planning by our local council for a workshop at home so i am looking at other options at the moment ,if you see peter on your travels tell him it will be done.

I’ll pass the info on Sammy, Pete likes his Foden but I think he still misses the Merc.

1 month to go.
Hi Neil,
I wonder if one of these will be there?
A new Volvo to contrast with the many old ones that are sure to be there Andrew? Got to be a possibility.
Neil.

Just noticed if you ignore the truck in the picture and just look at the people [odd concept I know, but bear with me] looks a bit dodgy?

Hi Neil,
the two people in the frame are Alan Jones and Faith Dickey. Alan was one of the drivers of the new FH that was used in the wire walking stunt with Faith walking from one trailer to another, whilst on the move and closing in on a tunnel. The video is on Biglorryblog, and was shown yesterday on a news programe over here.
An impressive but dangerous stunt to launch the new FH and its independent front suspension.
Alan was just wishing her good luck.
Regards Paul.
Hi all.
I cannot wait for this years retro.everyone of these trucks and a couple of hundred more will be there .
