Weekend rest should only be permited at home or in a hotel at least 10 miles away from vehicle.No food or refreshment to be eaten from fold down tables in the trailer and no large knives (used to cut cheese ,salami etc ect) to be carried on the vehicle.

yeah, why?? i used to enjoy my time weekended, sometimes for up to months a time, had a PS3 plumbed in, my time was my own, if i wanted to go for a walk or a drink or whatever i could, and i didnt have to spend it with people i didnt want to be near, i am very happy with my own company.
I think it’s a bit extreme to make it an offence for a truck driver to cut a slice of cheese too.
Well mainly because it does not effect me…cutting salami ect.I do think weekly rest should not be taken near the vehicle I think it is not rest and out dated.
