I love the idea that Raoul Moat and Gazza would go fishing in the middle of the siege 
after looking at that picture in the now of that little girl made to stand outside his house with placards all over her because she supposedly did something wrong, i really dont think anyone could have the slightest bit of sympathy for him.

I might be wrong but i think his ex wanted him to think she was with a copper because she was scared of him when he came out and thought there was more chance of him leaving her alone. Not everyoneās a mind reader, so I guess she couldnāt predict it would have the reverse effect.
Every prisoner that is released is assessed, and the ones they are worried about are advised to the police. But, there isnāt a foolproof way of determining who will carry out threats and who wonāt and bar keeping someone in prison on the grounds that they may do something or have a copper babysitting them 24 hours, itās difficult to see what the authorities can do. Bottom line, theyāve only got so much in the way of resources.
He was a bad man, if his head was addled with steroids, well he chose to take them and should have known the side effects.

I certainly wouldnāt say that he was a legend and as for the steroids I agree every one knows the side effects of steroids and a major one is aggression. It always annoys me when a heroin addict says he is a victim no your not you decided to take the stuff, you know what it can do and how it destroys peoples lives so donāt try it simple.

I have had a good few mates that spend their lives in and out of prison and they all say drugs are just as easy to get on the inside how the ā ā ā ā can that be. After they went in the first time they came out and they had changed and not in a good way so something is going wrong somewhere all I can say is thank god for my misses, my beatifull kids and the rest of my family because they gave me the reason to change my life. I learnt alot from my past and made some good friends but that is one place I will never be going back to.

A close friend is a prison warder, another is high up in Wakefield, and the system doesnāt work because there are too many do gooders protecting the inmates while no one seem to protect the victims of crime anymore, if they ever did.
I agree with that, all my mates seam to enjoy it. It is meant to be a punishment for god sake. It is a shame because they are some of the best mates I could have (although I dont agree with some of the things they do) and I wish they could see how they are wasting their lives but prison is nothing to them so they see no real consequences of the things they do.
Sentences need to be tougher, no parole you do the time that the judge gives you, serving time needs to be tougher and I think the three strikes thing in California needs introducing over here to put off re offenders.
