I don’t need a reality check. I might not be 100% honest. I may take a pen if ive forgotten my own or some cable ties etc but you talk about taking exterior lights,work boots etc and act as if your PROUD of it? I think your the one who needs the reality check. Stealing is the lowest of the low
Plus I think your back tracking a tad. Your original post stated when you leave either by sack or by yourself. Are you saying you got the sack because the directors were stealing?
Don’t think so. Stop trying to justify yourself.
Do you realise that when you steal (not take) something then everybody else who works or worked there ends up under suspicion?
And don’t say “worse than us hgv drivers”. 99% of us don’t nick the sort of stuff you boast about. Don’t lump us in the same boat as you.

ok,lets get this sorted once and for all,exterior lights,this was one exterior light which had been in my cab for probably years and was all dusty,didnt even work until I re wired it ,tools, the odd spanner or hammer,nothing spectacular,work boots,would you wear a pair of boots that was issued to someone else,i know I would not [they could have some kind of foot disease]these boots were actually issued to me as was the company uniform [which again nobody else would wear ] lets face it most companies could not care less if you return a company uniform,my last one didn’t,the OP said r truck drivers dishonest,i was being honest about what I got away with,sometimes with the companies knowledge and they could not give a txxs if I returned a uniform or not,we all know this to be true,apart from that nothing of real value was ever taken by me,certainly not enough to cause investigations or put suspicion on other drivers,so next time you feel the need to call someone thieving scum [seth 70]you go forth and multiply

you are correct ,I should have explained it better,but I will not say anymore on the subject or reply to anyone else as it is getting boring now
I stayed with my last employer long enough to get 21 hours of DCPC free. Some would find that dishonest. Years ago, I jacked from the firm I’d learned to drive plant at because somewhere else offered better wages and easier job once qualified…
I’ve also worked at a place where you were told to write your payload on the ticket as 19.5ton, regardless of what you actually had on, and the material was sold on tonnage.
When tipping at someone elses’ tip, I write a different address on the ticket to stop the tip companys’ reps from seeing the ticket and going out and nicking our work.

If i was you i’d re register with a new user name and start again. Or maybe i’m wrong and potential employers are going to pay you top whack to have their stuff off ? And you’ve been sacked too ? !! LOL. What goes on in your head, you don’t like employers,you get sacked, you keep stuff if you don’t like them, they sack you. You see a pattern here ?

I’d never steal anything, my mother put the fear of god in me when she caught me stealing those little tubes of fruit pastels from Tesco years ago. She marched me right up the store manager and made me say sorry for taking something without paying for it.
