And isn’t that a fallen over forklift in the back of the pic? Too heavy a pallet loaded and tipped it over?

RIP Richard I hope you are at peace, Heart felt sympathies go out to all the Family and friends.
that forklift doesn’t look capable of lifting two packs of worktops…
once again, R.I.P. drive.
Right Trukkertone. That flt looks as light as a feather, compared to any that I’ve seen lifting packs of timber etc. Look at the counter weight, it’s hardly there. Looks like another death because some prick won’t use/ buy the proper gear. I wonder how come the driver got his self in a place where he ended up under the pallet though. No I’m not TNUKCSI, I was just wondering.
All sympathy to his family.
You’ve got to be sharp as duck when you’re working round mech…
R.I.P. Driver condolences to his family.

For anyone interested the forklift involved in the incident appears to be a “Hyster J1.80XMT ACX” which has a 1800kg lifting capacity, but I think something else must have gone wrong here.

Same flt that I’ve seen load my wagons when I’ve done work for Howdens.

Why do you think that?
I worked for howdens on agency didn’t sign any safe working practices, just slung the keys away you go type job. The loading left a hell of lot to be desired aswell!
Really feel sorry for the family aswell so close to chrimbo, police really ■■■■■■ up by letting the news spread before the family was told. And the agency Christ almighty who even leaves a voicemail like that?? Beggers belief
Ironic I saw a white DAF SSC with a Howdens trailer parked on the on slip for J43 last night. Don’t know if it was that one, or one of it’s sisters, but a sobering moment.
