Off for weekend
Monday 14 hours service, 10 driving
9 hours off
Tuesday 14 hours service , 9.45 driving.
Rest of the week all less than 9 driving
And 11 off each night.
Legal or not?

A thought … service might mean shift time … if so then legal from the limited info given
Jesus lads! Yes service means shift time.
Yes I know it right and yes all Cpc done.
Just showing this to the man beside me who’s just given the last bloody hour trying to convince me that you can’t have a reduced daily rest between 2 10 hour driving days.
Just won 5 pints. Thanks tnet

Assuming that all shifts after Tuesday are no more than 13 hour spread-over from the start of the shift to the end of the shift i’s legal.
(Actually you could have one more reduced daily rest period before the next weekly rest period but this is the easiest way to explain it)

Man next to you needs to read the rules and then find out where it says what he claims or he is going to be needing to own a brewery
The most frustrating conversation of my life. It was like talking to a 2 year old.
And then he said, “I’ve just done the Tm Cpc and passed, I know what I’m talking about”
Give me strength
sounds like most TM’s imo!
Agreed but he’s not a Tm yet. He’s a fella that does a bit of part time for us.
Ah well at least I won the bet.
And trucknet decided I’m not a troll.
A happy Friday all round lol

And we wonder why we have this dcpc
Just goes to show it’s not working

There is a document called GV262. It contains all the rules and regulations regarding tachos and driving hours. Next time someone tells you something like that, whip it out and ask them to show you.

Could be the driver never took a tacho and hours dcpc course and never will because there is no requirement to do so

I think it should be. GV262 is a fairly detailed document and if you haven’t read it a few times then all your info on drivers hours is coming from RDC waiting rooms. And well, we’ve all heard the myths many times over. This is a new one though, always nice to smell fresh turd.
Tell him I’ll bet him 5 pints it’ll get dark tonight
I reckon he’ll go for it !!
(I mean in this country, outdoors with no artificial lighting )
