A classic example of [zb] dregs becoming drivers nowadays.
I often check mine now since I was made aware of these arse wipes, something I never did except for first thing AM before setting off.
How [zb] sad is that.
Wasn’t there one on here who admitted to it, got dog’s abuse and then done the usual back pedalling or did I just make that up?
Anybody?
Recently had my curtains cut when I stopped in a services to lay a log. I was gone for 9 minutes. An hour later at my drop I noticed the cut, a small one to have a look at what was inside.
Broad daylight and in a full services. What chance have you got.
That is proper dregs along with pin pullers and the reason I do a full walk round now after being away for any length of time, quite sad really.
I’ve been known to “keep checking mine” driving along the New Cross road, each and every time I come to a stop, especially if masked by another large vehicle including buses in front of me.
Modus Operandi is some non-white youth will pull your red button out, and when you jump out and reset it, another bod unclips your dog clip, and pulls the handle.
So, you go back around that side, and check your 5th wheel before getting back into the cab.
My beef with all this is that these louts always seem to stay just out of reach (you don’t get confronted, even by multiple youths) but sooner or later there is going to be some kind of serious altercation between a driver+possible mate and a small group of these guys who seem to think they are the gang that owns the district.
Even when stationary for a good 5-10 minutes, no police appear from anywhere. Odd that.
As to what I’ve experienced or seen up close - the vehicle in front of me has been done both trucks and buses, and I look on with dismay at the poor EE agency driver running around his combination trying to put things right before moving off again.
I wish we truckers were allowed in law to club together to protect ourselves like as happens in this old chestnut video…

Bking comes to mind. Didn’t backpedal, just stopped posting.
Nah don’t think it was our resident Holocaust denyer
There was some star on here who said he does it if somebody is taking a break on the pumps…
Annoying I know, but bad enough to pull a driver’s pin?, and that’s ignoring the fact that the pump will be blocked even longer anyway.
happysack:
Had my pin pulled in the yard a few weekends ago
Your own yard? One of your fellow drivers then?
Jealousy. It’s a cruel infliction.
I take it you have a better truck or something along those lines? Whatever is the matter with some people? And this from fellow drivers
No certainly not a better truck! I was being sarcastic with the jealousy comment. To be honest i don’t know why it was done. Although out of the 25 drivers in the yard, i think i have fallen out with at least 10. And i don’t bother speaking to most of the others.

Can’t remember if he said he had done it or that he would do it, but I definitely remember that post, but I can’t remember who it was
