Best thing to avoid this is to get bent curtain handles sorted or try and pull some of the curtain far enough you can tuck the handle underneath.
You can improvise with wedging things under bent handles to stop the lines getting caught behind as well.

Done it myself. Its things like that that carrying a penknife is useful for. Cut the remnants off the brass fitting at the back of the cab, tidy up the end of the suzy and shove it back on the brass fitting. Suzy fixed, wagon rolling, boss none the wiser.
Warming the end of the plastic line up in front of the night heater makes it go back on easier.
