long way round for some but Poole - Ringwood - Salisbury - Warminster - Bath is a good route.
DC to Ringwood and a good flat road to Salisbury time wise not much in it even more so in the winter with fog and all … :wink:

If the idea of a network that is primarily set up to help “thick” drivers in all aspects of the job,which includes routes to avoid or use upsets you perhaps you’d be better ignoring the posts that ask for advice rather than lambasting them,I would rather seek advice from someone who’d had experience sooner than waste sometimes valuable time on poor roads!

It doesn’t upset me at all, it’s all the time on here, how do I get from a to b, how the hell are they going to learn how to get anywhere if you dont do it on your own, you learn my your own mistakes. Drivers seem to be stuffed nowadays the second they get off a motorway. And also you are a very rude man using language like that.

Well I must apologise for my insensitivity,had I realised that I was addressing the vicar of Dibley I would never of stuped so low as to use such hurtful and vulgar language, but seeing as you’d address a gentleman as thick,it would appear that this post had drifted a little more than off topic and I shouldn’t add fuel to the fire, but I strongly feel that you should be able to speak ( or type) freely as you would in real day to day life , and seeing as we’re lorry drivers and not in the education system or other sensitive areas of life I tend to speak as I find,for this I apologise sincerely! But I also hope you yourself see the inconsistencies within your view of the original quote, would it not be a very rude man indeed to cast such an aspersion to brand him" thick " without first knowing a little about the gentleman ?
