decided to give it a swerve, had advertised for night trunking to be told when I got there these were old vacancies and it was dayshift they require

I was talking to a Pollock driver at Warrington rail terminal last Christmas. A very nice bloke but was shocked at the hourly rate. It was just over £7 p/h. It ■■■■■■ me off that people are being exploited.

Tramped for them through sure recruitment for black Friday til Jan this year on 12-15 p/h netting 1kplus a week.
They pay there own drivers around £7.50 p/h still lol. But you will get a nice actros or fh to live in, and snap account use for cheap/free showers and meals haha I know what I’d say
That’s a decent wage for a agency lol. Seems mad they would pay that to their own drivers thought

Why not just ring them and ask (a. Do you have any jobs for class 1 drivers? And (b. What’s the current rate of pay for said job? You’ll get a much better idea of the job & pay than you will from here where they aren’t liked that much.
