£6.31 is NMW if you are over 21 as most drivers would be. The idea that someone thinks driving an artic is worthy of the same money as supermarket checkouts is a bit scary when you think about the consequences of mistakes…

Rikki I look forward to getting sued when this new legislation kicks in, I’ll write them a cheque on the back eh a postage stamp

That’s if you can afford a postage stamp. I suspect some drivers would struggle at that rate

Just wondering when this site is going to grow a pair. :unamused:

Probably after those who criticise us put their own money on the line and publish such comments themselves- and take any consequences rather than looking for someone else to take the rap… The good news is we will be shortly implementing the new defamation act procedures on these forums, which means that our responsibility for your comments is somewhat diminished- so you (when it comes into force) can be more forthright- the bad news for you- is if we cant identify you by real name and address it will still go,( you will have a chance to tell us) and if your not willing to stand up for those comments and not going to let us pass all your details onto a complainant it still going to go- However if you give us full details so their lawyers can serve you directly we can let it stay and the full force of the law comes down on your head not ours

So its a lot easier for us- say something sue-able- either give us your details so they can
sue you direct or your comment disappears- seems a lot fairer system to me- and will allow the keyboard warriors who don’t want someone else to fight and pay for their battles the chance to speak openly

Be intresting to see how many put there money where there mouth is.

Probably not Pollock’s drivers as it doesn’t sound like they’ve got much money.

FTFY

I think…

Its more than 6.20 an hour guys. Can’t remember the exact rate but max you’re hours out and you’ll be lucky to take 500 home that’s including night out money away Sunday till Friday

£6.20 an hour …£9 on a Sunday only for 1st 8 hours then back 2£6.20!!! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Thats incorrect. Best you find out from Pollocks themselves what they pay rather than guessing.

And i’m locking the thread now due to reports.
