I’m interested to know how many of us are happy with our current jobs. Are you just plodding along until something better comes along, or have you found what you’re looking for and have no intention of letting it go?
I have a very good job at the moment, good pay, good start times. Problem is I work for a bunch of Richards who haven’t got a clue about running lorries and their biggest concern is how nothing could ever come back to bite them. Also I don’t take well to being accused of theft every time I want to walk out of the gate. So a very good job made bad by management
because they know jack! middle management at stobrats have Donald ducked the job on the upside the bigboys are now getting FIRED TOO! I’m very happy in my job!
Very happy slip-sliding about in a gas mini-bulker round the Lakes. Good money and great scenery to go with it.
Bit ■■■■■■ off it finishes Easter weekend though…bring on next next winter!

That happened to me when I was on Agency once. Still don’t know if the full-time 7.5t driver at ATL Kingstown ever did find his I-Pod head-phone lead thingy. WTF’s an I-Pod, never mind a ■■■■■■■ lead for it?!
It makes me laugh, the guys in the warehouse who pick and pack the stuff have a 30% search rate the drivers who don’t touch the stuff and have a sealed trailer have a 100% search rare. I wouldn’t even nick it if u could, I have taste (also not that way inclined)
I used to have a brilliant job driving stages about but not this year
I’m happy sometimes, sometimes I’m ■■■■■■ off. It’s just all part and parcel. The thing that annoys me most is I can’t make plans or appointments or anything like that as my start times, nights out, finishing times are all over the place and sometimes I will
i enjoy the job but dont like the crap that comes with it, plus the money poor but im stuck there are a while as i can only work 8-6 due to being a single parent. but i have plans in the pipe line
Yes, we have good kit which is regularly updated, loads of work (in fact we’re moving to a bigger place this year) and also because of my shift pattern I get plenty of time off and the money’s pretty good.

ditto started 3.30 am monday finished at 17.30 , a run to nr salisbury looked at some nice chocolate box areas (thatched cottages etc) the sun shone ,traffic was moving , a lovely day sat about all day yesterday waiting for the phone to ring …it didnt . :frowning: will it ring today ■■?? who knows. love the driving , hate the uncertainty, cant plan anything, daren`t go for a beer and a craic ,just in case.
yep love the job, ok there are some jobs that pay more, but with the perks i get on top and the jobs ■■■■ easy i ain’t going to move been here 7 years so more than happy
Pay is just about right, lots of variety, lots of time off with pay,I get to travel to a few different Countries, company pension and I work with a great bunch of lads moving heavy equipment STGO cat 3.
So I would have to say Iam happy in this job, but Iam always looking to better myself.
Although myself and my co-workers like a good moan now and again.
Work been called off today, so I will be getting paid to go mountain biking how can I not be happyb
