Political discussions...

well i couldnt be bothered keeping up with this so called debate for the last couple of weeks, im a busy man, but i made a bit of cash now so i can support a good cause

I disagree.
Think of those Afghans who helped the UK forces. Some were correctly evacuated. Some were left behind.

Some do manage to get themselves and their families out. (And note that the Taliban are not fussy about punishing relatives if the ones they want do a runner) The first safe country might be Pakistan. Some sources say there are millions there….in what is a poor country. And the UN says that some are being forcibly returned to Afghanistan. Afghans who might have actively helped the UK or at the least have stood up against the violent Taliban who have succeeded in taking over the place. Those who one way or another showed allegiance to us in the west.
They don’t leave their homes and small holdings etc because of an imaginary threat.
Turkey has millions of refugees. Another relatively poor country looking after millions from various conflicts that we in the west had our grubby mitts in.

The vast, vast majority of refugees from many countries do not leave their homes in order to come to the UK. Most stay near their homes and want to get back there. Of those who range further, most stay in other European countries. Some do make it to the Channel and on to the UK. Thousands? Yes. But in spite of what some say it is a comparatively small number of them.

In an ideal world we would not have any refugees, we would not have asylum seekers. We are not in an ideal world.

Why does that not surprise me…
Yeah a worthy cause mate and not a waste of money whatsoever.
:joy:
But alas no real need they get evertything paid for as it is from healthcare to balloon art courses.

(Nice bit of fishing btw nearly as good a ‘‘TN angler’’ than me in fact …
You’ll deffo get one or two bites.:joy:)

thats the point though… if they have family here they can apply to come here legally if their family member came here legally. no need to come by boat they can come here by plane. of course they dont do that because if they do have family here they came here illegally too or they have been deemed inadmissible because of criminal records etc.

its all poppy ■■■■ fed to the gullible that are incapable of rational thought. for example franglais would have you believe that the 23,000 that have come here illegally since 2018 are all fleeing the taliban however that would mean there are 43.81 million taliban in just that country alone. trouble is the biggest estimate i could find for taliban members was 75,000 in 2021 so even if it doubled every year for the last 4 years they are still 42.6 million short.

but to get a visa Pakistanis can get a UK visitor visa from their own country, but refusals are common because applicants often fail to prove they are genuine visitors intending to leave the UK, lack sufficient funds, or don’t have strong ties to Pakistan. Recent government proposals suggest that increased scrutiny on certain nationalities, including Pakistanis, is due to concerns about individuals overstaying their visas or claiming asylum after entering.

Same with Iranians and many other countries. Last year my friend had had visitor visa for his girlfriend knocked back from South Africa, as she was only renting a property in Cape Town and no family for ties back to SA,

again open the window will you… none have been left behind. they had over 2 years to apply if they havent or have had their application turned down that is because they were not eligible. all that have applied and havent had their application processed yet will still get their chance. Again it was starmer that closed the scheme so take it up with him.

common sense test… i have helped the allied forces against the taliban my family and i are in danger from the taliban because of that. i know ill wait till the scheme that has been running for over 2 years has ended then cry i have been left behind. Then i will get on the back of a lorry drive into pakistan or iran etc etc etc and lastly get on a rubber dinghy to come to england and pay thousands for it leaving my family behind.

or
i have helped the allied forces they have this scheme to get me out as my life and my families life is in danger i will take advantage of this scheme at the earliest opertunity and go to the uk safely and legally with my family at no cost.

they aint bleeding pakistanis though are they… they are afghanistanis that have escaped over the border to get to a british consulate.

im getting worried about smoking with all the methane in the air

Yeah course ya do.

Yeah a small proportion of the vast numbers, yep they missed the boat…or in this case the plane, life is tough and never fair.

So then lets think of the majority the chancers who have lived in other parts of Europe for years, and then plumped for the all inclusive UK package instead.

The vast majority freeloader scroungers purely here for the aforementioned.

The rap1sts, the pedos, the potential terrorists, the teams of shoplifters all inflicting their pi55 poor culture and ways on our own people.
Mostly all ‘young men of fighting age’ the profile much needed in a war torn country if that scenario was actually real.

The Doctors the Engineers the Scientists and the abundance of women and children…oh hang on I’m getting the official narrative confused with actual reality.:joy:

Not when they come to a comparitively small island with the drain on resources services and infrastructure it aint '‘small’'by any means.
50000 + alone since your little firm took over.

Basically mate in essence most of us do not give a crap about them, as you say it aint an ideal world, it s a real world, and we as a country do not have a responsibility towards these people…however we DO have a responsibility to our own people, those who most of us would rather prioritise on.

Regardless, but there application would still be refused probably

if their application for asylum is refused then its refused because they are not genuine refugees simple as that. hence why or otherwise they shouldnt be coming here as was the point of the original post

I was pointing out , that anyone that does not have a legitimate or valid reason to return to their home country, will more than likely be refused a visiting visa. As you need to be in the country that you want to claim asylum in.

We have a shortfall of millions of homes. That is not due to some tens of thousands of refugees etc.
Years of deliberate austerity have decimated many UK services. First of all we were told “It is all the fault of the EU. If we leave all will be well” That is bollox. Now the same snake oil salesmen are saying “It is all the fault of refugees. Just leave the ECHR and all will be fixed”.

Again and again, simple solutions to complex problems. How many times are you going to listen to, and believe in nonsense from the same people?

and i was pointing out that its got as much to do with a visiting visa as a bald rats flea infested furry backside. they are claiming asylum remember

Which can only be claimed after they enter the UK. There are no regular routes for many potential claimants to enter the UK. They have to enter irregularly to claim asylum.

Which could also be visitor, student or work visa. Then claim asylum in the country they have arrived

And I said , they can only claim asylum once in the country. How they get there is irrelevant. Legal or illegal.

first few seconds of the video there is lots of housing in local authorities that can be used.

yep because they were coming over and living here either filling up social housing or driving the price up for private rent by living 10-20 to a house when british people were on the streets. They finally got the message that the british people were pissed off when we voyed for brexit and the majority had to leave because they couldnt prove they had paid taxes whilst they were here.

except of course the price of property fell and rents went down and wages went up but dont let facts get in the way there

let me correct the next bit for you

yet people are being evicted by councils from their homes to house the illegal scum.

i personally dont think it is all the echr’s fault. its the lefty drivel that use it as an excuse for their beliefs. we need to leave to stop that avenue of abuse.

again and again there is nothing complex about it…you come here illegally you get sent back end of. there is plenty of ways to come here legally if you really want to assimilate yourself. 2 second google produces this

it is only the brainwashed that think its complex because they havent a brain cell between them to understand

Oh sweet Jesus Franglais has gone into politician’s speech mode, put yer lectern away mate nobody cares.:joy:
Back down to earth yet?
Ok…
Yeah we have shortfalls in everything, so why is it prudent to take in more people, criminal hostile people to boot.

You are starting to argue with yoursellf again
I certainly aint saying that all that crap you hsve just spouted is all the fault of refugees, it’s more a case those who are masquerading as refugees aint exactly helping the aspects you point out in your speech.
Then we have people like you who swallow the whole b/s hook line sinker AND the rod, and go on to make the problem worse…Hell we even now have a guy on here who has donated towards the whole ILLEGAL immigrant pantomime, :joy:
(which in reality will do the far end of f.all,.at least the vet’s charity I donated to was actually SOME good and aimed at people who wholly deserved some help.)

Yep good point …that would be a bloody good start to sorting this ILLEGAL immigrant problem out.:+1:

Have you found yer ironymeter yet mate
YOU saying that …to ME ? :joy::joy:

yes thats the lefty excuse yes… reality is its just not true all they have to do is present themselves to a british border… ie a consulate

the uk passed a law saying anyone that came here illegally couldnt claim asylum of course starmer scrapped that day one..only 1 of the 2 things he did manage to do day one

I didn’t mention which country did I? And you need to be physically in the country to claim asylum.

And show proof that you can claim at a British Consulate .
