Here’s the thing with this whole liberal (small l) ethos of refugees welcome here and the recent ruling re immigrant hotels/hostels; you can bet your bottom dollar that every single Conservative and Reform run council will be closing these hotels PDQ. The government then will take the path of least resistance and foist these cavemen onto more amenable councils, ie Labour and Liberal councils. With me so far? Good.
