Political discussions...

I know you don’t like this gov, but in this case it is a council leader telling the gov that her county needs the rules relaxed to bring in more migrants.

Up until May it was largely a scheme left over from the previous govs. Starmer is tightening it up and getting push back from the county councils who say they need migrants.

If a migrant worker on a visa leaves the job specified then their visa becomes subject to cancellation. It is up to UK employers to check that workers have the right to work in the UK. The employer as well as the worker can be punished.

14 years wasn’t enough time for the Tories to fix what you allege were Labour’s mistakes?
And some are saying that this gov isn’t working fast enough!

Here is a link by the way. Reform-led Kent council calls for more overseas social care visas A RefUK ltd leader who says that Labour are too tough on migration.
I wonder what St Nigel Of Florida thinks about that?

Whatever gave you that idea.

I agree 100%. I doubt however that the person responsible should actually be in a position to educate or influence impressionable young minds and should be dismissed with immediate effect. This sort of creeping malaise needs nipping in the bud. Surely school is for broadening horizons for young minds through book learning and open discussion?

Summary dismissal?
Not even an inquiry to ask what happened? Go off the account of one side, as reported in the media, only?

Certainly someone needs to be questioned about what happened, and dismissal should be an option if they are pushing one point of view only.
But I would want more than a news report before sacking someone. News sites are prone to being less than 100% accurate after all.

Whaaaat? Not reliable you say. Who’d have thunked it?

Summary execution I’d suggest! It might just focus some wet, liberal minds into thinking of the damage they do every time they flap their gums.

I guess the woman on Twitter was let off light by only getting a prison sentence for using words then?

Absolutely, she’d have been burned at the stake using liberals as kindling

Useless! You’ve already said they are wet!

Aren’t we lucky to have the NHS.

A £300 maternity grant is also payable.

jumping back to the school girl from yesterday it seems as if the school faceache page has been closed down. along with its other social media outlets

It also appears this isnt the first time they have had an issue with white people in 2014 they banned bracelets showing support for a year 11 student undergoing treatment for cancer

Is nobody gonna mention Labour’s latest ‘‘politics of desperation’’ stunt ?
I suppose all the Lefties on here are too busy slagging Trump off on the other thread,.despite the complete episodes of cluster ■■■■ s going on in our/their own country…probably can’t bring themselves to acknowledge it all, let alone view and comment.:joy::joy:

Anyhoo Starmer after alienating his ‘raison d’etre’ target voters (the British Working man and woman…aka ‘‘The Far Right’’,) he must be getting a bit windy noticing that his new target audience, (The Moslem vote) who I hear are a bit busy putting forward more independent candidates.

So now he’s targeting the kids.:joy:
Aparentlly pushing it through for 16 year olds to vote. :joy:…they can’t buy a lottery ticket but can vote for the next Prime Minister of (once) Great Britain.

Now I can only speak for myself but when I was 16 I was listening to likes of The Sex Pistols and The Clash, sneaking into pubs putting on a deep voice to get served, and fantasising over Samantha Fox (barked up the wrong tree there I later found out btw :joy:) …but not all at the same time.
Politics was the furthest thing away from my mind as it could be.

I suppose they are banking on the woke liberal ideology that is now taught in our schools to rub off and gain a few votes…or it could bite them on their stupid arses if the kids are influenced by their parents, given the widespread dissatisfaction in the country with this shower of sh.

So first they try a smear campaign against a small party with about 6 seats…because they DON’T fear them, …aye right.
Now this.

I think Starmers only (very slim) chance to get back in is to crawl around the arses …(he is good at that, as in the EU leaders) of the Also rans…aka
The Nonentity and Mercenary Party (Lib Dems)
And strike up a coalition of convenience, otherwise he is toast…
Always assuming the country can survive another 4 years of their b/s and ineptitude.
Especially as the likes of Khan and Manic Milliband are hanging around in the wings like bad smells.

got it in one.

my friends daughter is just finishing her first year in secondary school. She was a nice kid and still is dont get me wrong. However if you make any non leftie bed wetting comment in front of her she goes into full meltdown. she called her father (my friend) that is so laid back and on the left we dont discuss politics a fascist the other day now where have we heard that before.

as i said before the ge the country wont survive. they are making sure it wont.

They hated brexit and said we would all starve. we didnt because we could then buy food from our own fields. so they have smashed up farming.

the ecconomy was growing with british people working british jobs so they distroyed the british companies and british work force.

peoples lives were improving. they were able to make something of themselves. with a little hard work they could afford a car and somewhere to live and gain some self respect. now people are haing their homes taken from them because there is no work and those that rent are being thrown on the street to make space for the illegals.

the british fishing industry was beging to grow. we could if we chose sell our fish to the eu countries. now they come into our waters and take them for free. causing more unemployment and inflation.

we were told if we voted from brexit we would all be come disease ridden as there would be no doctors there were more doctor appointments than at any point in the decade before. now you have to wait 2 weeks to see a doctor if you can pass the computer that decides if you need an appointment or not.

need i go on.

England kicked off, not the lionesses but locals in Epping protesting against a scum bag immigrant housed in a local hotel who has been accused of some impropriety with a female child…no reports on the BBC, now there’s a surprise.

Is this the one only here for 3 days but managed to get in 2 seperate secual assaults in that time?

^^^^ this was actually reported on national radio news this morning, Virgin though, not sure about Aunty Beeb.
