And the data on the “Small Boat Arrivals” site does not include the data on arrivals on large vessels… Well blow me down… Who’d a guessed?

And what else do we learn? They are not counting the people thy do not know about…mind blowing

try the bit highlighted in italic and bold ducky

how gives a flying ■■■■ about the iow we are talking about british territories as i keep telling you over and over entering a territory that belongs to england be that a land mass or embersy you can claim asylum

and where do you think they went from there… back to africa or just possibly the uk. dont be so bloody thick

What is upsetting you?
Johnson etc made a temporary deal with the EU. It was up for re-negotiation and has been renegotiated.
This new arrangement makes it quicker and easier for the majority of Gib citizens and workers to go about their daily lives. They seem happy with it.
Why do you not like it?

dont worry though it will be all over soon and you will find out what far right really is.

here we go again… bs hs hs tories bs bs johnson bs bs bs tories bs bs labour are great bs bs change the ■■■■■■■ record will ya

From Spain they might have gone anywhere. Exactly the same as those who enter other EU countries.

Could they have gone on to England? Yes, possibly, but the majority (90ish%) do not.

In 2020 it was expected that Gib would become part of the Schengen area. The gov at that time (whoever they were) negotiated most of that, but there was a hitch over the particular type of official that would oversee the actual passport control.
That led to delays on the Gib /Spain border.
That has now been fixed by the current gov (whoever they are)

Upsetting?..nah.
Annoying !..The Labour govt is annoying me.

Let Johnson go will ya, he’s history, concentrate on the much worse PM that we have tiday…(NO more obligatory lists of comparison PLEEEEASE…, we get it that you blame Johnson for everything)

I aint teally bothered about Gibraltar, it’s the way Starmer does things,.and the way he sniffs around thr arse of the EU like a randy dog.

And British territories seem to be his latest, ‘thing’ first the Chagos Islands,.another of his brilliant deals, now Gibraltar is his latest meddle no doubt the Argies will be getting the Falklands handed anytime soon

an old scandal a tory mp borrows 500 quid from some budget mass up roar days of discussion on here sir bend em over screaming for his resignation etc etc.

Taiwo Owatemi repeatedly expenses 900 quid for landlord fees so she can bring her dog to london. Not a word said

The company MedPro has been in the High Court as the DHSC is demanding repayment of £122m for faulty PPE goods supplied.
The hearing mentions Mone and Barrowman but will not cover their involvement in the awarding of the contract in the first place. Other enquiries are still being made about that.

I mention this so that @robroy can post pictures of blondes in knickers!

when do we get the 10.5 billion back from the sale of the natwest group shares?

So, an MP rents a place in London to attend the HoC? Yep, many do that.
And they all (or the vast majority if not all) charge that against expenses. OK.
Because she owns a dog her landlord charges her more. A one off fee to clean the property when she leaves It as I understand it? Seems normal to me.

What is the issue?
That MPs charge expenses for living in London?
That she owns a dog and wants it there whilst she is away from home?
That landlords charge extra for pets?

I would like to see some sort of accommodation for MPs near the HoC. Probably cheaper and better for their safety.

Apart from the reports in the media etc?

Related to the time the private sector nearly crashed the UK economy?
When the UK Gov stepped in to prevent the collapse of the bank? So securing the savings of UK citizens, and prevent many thousands of home s being repossessed?

Yep, the NatWest management should be to account for that, but I doubt that will ever happen. Banks get to take profit when things go well, but get the Gov to bail them out when things go bad.
This is an example of that.

Yep…my favourite subject in fact…cheers.

i clearly explained the issue.
lets see if i can make it even clearer…

She Expensed Her Extra Charge for HER Decision to bring the dog. Got it good

if she wanted to bring her dog with her that is fine. but she bears the cost of that, There is no need to bring the dog with her. Before you start whining about who would look after it maybe the same person or people that were looking after her then 8 month old child. Namely probably the husband.

If i go on a work trip over night i would expect to be put up somewhere… either a hotel or b&b etc. They would pay for that. If i damaged the place or brought my cat with me and caused extra charges i would be liable.

if you ever decide to drive to john o groates warn me you might run me over in dover your so far off the mark.

OK, that is clearer.
Thank you.

I think that is an interesting point.
Maybe it would be better if she chose accommodation with no extra charges for pets?

Is her claim excessive?

2023/4 she claimed in total £23,400 for accommodation.
Same period Lee Anderson claimed £23, 071 for accommodation.
Badenoch over£32k. Has she got a dog?
Not a vast difference really, but it is true that dogs are optional extras.
Not against the rules, but maybe the rules should be different, I agree.

from yesterdays spending review rachel from accounts recons she is doing wonderfully.
Interest rates q2 2024 2.2% q2 2025 3.5% up 60%
growth q1 2024 0.9% q2 2024 0.5% labour gets in q3 0% q4 0.1%
unemployment 2024 1,486,000 2025 1,736,000+
in jan 2020 1,508 business went bust using brexit as an excuse. oct 2024 2747 went bust nearly double.

and she has the gall to say she is doing better than the tories.
