Political discussions...

Yeah yeah the usual guff from you.

The dog coming over, whatever next, horses, donkeys, pigs and goats, better call Peter Gilder who chartered his own livestock ship out of Shoreham docks when the animal rights protesters were lying down in front of lorries in other ports, one young lady was killed by doing that.

That’s definitely not Charlie, they would not risk taking it as probably get regularly tested and perhaps the dogs that sniff out explosives can multi task to sniff out all types of drugs.

We had a warehouse man who got sent home when the manager tested him, the staff kicked up a fuss to demand if the test kit had been recently calibrated and inspected for accuracy, it wasn’t so he kept his job.

According to one of the involved groups it is a bad deal? No surprise.
Deals involve give and take. Something that seems to be forgotten.

The fishers are no better off it is true, but I repeat the question where are they worse off?
Link dozens of articles if you like but please show the relevant sections. What have they lost?
Where is the “betrayal” etc?

No, none but so what?
They wanted more, they did not get more so they are pissed off.
No argument that they are fed up.

Again I ask, are they justified in being fed up? What is the problem they have today they did not have yesterday?

Quote “No benefits for UK fishermen and their costalcommunities”

What about the new 360 million quid from the taxpayer? Isn’t that going to be a benefit?

i seriously doubt they do. There was a scandal last year and the bloke got vilified on here for it where a tory mp had to borrow money to pay of a drug habit. If he was guilty and it was his habit they clearly never tested them.

the dogs probably would smell it. but so what. the dogs are put through before the dignitaries arrive otherwise its a little pointless bring them into a train and then searching it. Even if there was a residue when they got home and it set off the guard dogs again so what. how long do you think a member of the close protection team will last if they even hinted about going to the press and even if they did how long before “full fact” or some other lefty moaning mertle paper said no no he was sacked so he is just making this all up and the poor guy wont be available for comment.

Good points there Coop.

:joy::joy::joy::joy:
You were the same with the farmers when Starmer screwed them over…they did not know what they were talking about.

You are the same with illegal immigration…nobody knows what they are talking about,.whilst you come out with your ‘‘irregulars’’ and ''hostels ’ dog sh.

Same with that excrement who killed those little girls,.everything but name points to a terrorist related attack, but we don’t know what we are talking about.

Now it’s ‘‘The Fishers’’.:joy:…your terminology is even dictated to you ffs.

Anybody with a contrary opinion to the official narrative… ‘do not know what they are taling about’’

Your servility to ‘‘the cause’’, illusions of grandeur and sense of superiority know no bounds mate…the term from where I come from is ‘Smart Arse’', you certainly fit that bill.

Everything you post is done in a superior manner of I know more than either you or people directly involved or working in the subject matter. You did it with the farmers too recently.

There at least four articles posted re the issue all negative.

Link dozens of articles if you like but please show the relevant sections. What have they lost?

Do us a favour ! after all the guff you have posted over the years. If the whole article was not there you would complain it was cherrypicked.
By the way you are the same as us, just a participant on this forum, do not try to dictate or give instructions re what / how much of an article is posted. If you can’t be bothered to read it that is your issue.

As has been previously mentioned you are taking a “High & Mighty” attitude to something that you probably know very little about.

No, but you know he will fight it to the death in his usual pompous know it all attitude, just to try and win the argument.

Everything you need to know about how brainwashed he is, is right there above.

The establishment must sit round at their posh eliteist dinner parties and laugh at people like Franglais for swallowing all the clap trap they put out and the woke
pc terminology they try and enforce on people. :joy::joy:

Unbelievable! How about maybe stopping the incentives for these freeloading economic scroungers being able to come over here and using loopholes like this in the first place!

Instead of ending the life of an innocent dog that has done nothing wrong.

think of the human rights law suit when some able bodied man of fighting age claims it was his emotional support animal

Some of them put their kids on these death trap boats, they are unaccompanied as in no parents, friends or relatives are with them.

I got an email from the council to offer me £800 per month to give an unaccompanied child a place to live.

Note the hotel owners have to only change the bed linen and towels once a week at migrant hotels.

Premier Inn have refused lucrative offers to home them as the government could guarantee maximum occupancy.

The Camelot Castle Hotel in Tintagel in Cornwall also refused their offer citing it would kill the trade in the town.

Or he was blind as a bat and needed his dog called Stevie Wonder.

thats not very much… im sure if you foster a child you get more than that to support them and cover the costs of schooling etc

Yeah you just know that is coming and us being the soft touch within our political and judicial system would follow it all through.

So if you were still working and in the job a long time so didn’t want to leave, and the company and union had negotiated every 2 years to a pay increase like the usual tit for tat, but the last negotiated rise the union said we won’t be negotiating for another 12 years
You really have to be a simpleton not to kick up a fuss
Are you in that bracket

Yes. True…All from the same outlet.

I am not saying they are not fed up. Clearly they are.

I often post selective bits but also link the whole article so it can be seen in context.

So what am I missing?
Where are they worse off tomorrow, than they were yesterday?

They wanted better, agreed. They are no better off, well apart from the £360 million freebie. But they are no worse off are they?

None of those articles, so far as I can see, say what has been lost. If I missed summat tell me.

And I dispute your statement

The article does say they welcome the stability of a 12 year deal, but also they are not happy about their lost quotas of one billion Krona. (£113million)

I don’t think that is a good parallel.
In wage negotiations there is inflation to look at, and there is not in the area of sea to fish.

The companies know they will have the same areas and quotas for the next 12 years that give s them stability.

Negotiations every year, are not guarantees of improvements every year!
That is merely wishful thinking.
