Starmer has given nothing extra to the EU regards fishing rights.
It is a continuation of the Johnson agreement.
If the fisherman and fisherwomen and fisher-non-binaries think that is a bad deal, then fine.
That is the same deal they had from Johnson. It is no worse.
If it is a crap deal, blame Johnson. He negotiated it !
And now we have the serial liar writing in the Torygraph telling anyone stupid enough to listen that he would now have negotiated something much better. He had the chance and failed.
Are fishers upset? Yes they are.
Why are they upset? Because they imagined that the UK would somehow negotiate some fantastic new deal that benefited them because Johnson had already screwed them over?
Well, I am sorry for them, but they got the Brexit that many of them voted for, and Johnson negotiated for them.

Franglais has spoken.
The previous post-Brexit deal saw the UK regain 25% of fishing rights from the EU, but it also gave European boats continuous access to UK waters.
It was due to expire at the end of June 2026 but the new agreement will see that extended until the summer of 2038.
Nah nothing has changed.
The fishing industry of Great Britain got screwed over the first time around. And I’m amazed that starmer gave quite such a generous deal in return for precious little. Seeing as most of us can’t afford foreign holidays now, it’s little benefit not to have to wait at assport control seeing as we usually still have to wait 5 years to collect our bags from useless bleedin rogue-air.
Starmer is clearly panicking now. He know’s he’s rapidly losing many of the gains he made last year and there is worse to come for this country economically.
I genuinely shudder to imagine what he has promised or will promise to Herr Trump next. Doubtless sell all our data to his cronies e.g. muskrat, make the NHS easier to sell off in parcels which would suit both trump and farage who also wants us to adopt the devil take the hindmost insurance scam model. And of course oodles of cheap and nasty american food.
The future is bleak and only the Revolutionary Party of Lower Beeding and Upper Tooting Bec, taking over can bring true prosperity and equality to the British people.

The Brexit Exit Agreement negotiated by Johnson had time limits on it.
The fishing part was up for renewal. That means up for re-negotiation.
It does not mean that the EU says “OK, we do not want any more fishing access”.
Johnson and others can stand at the side lines, just like the gobby football manager sat in the corner of the pub shouting at the TV, and shout “I would have done it better”!

It’s shocking that she didn’t get her 31 month sentence reduced, if only to dampen down the fires of civil rebellion. After all, all she did was suggest people might wish to generously warm up a few hotels with migrants in who were feeling cold.
That’s nothing compared to the egregious felonious acts of this criminal.
She only got a paltry 54 months for nefariously helping immigrants answer questions like
“who was king of England at the time of the Norman invasion in 1066?” and “how often does Prime Minister’s Questions occur when Parliament is sitting?”
Shock horror! The scandal of it all. Two bleedin tier sentencing that is if you ask me. Who knows what crimes someone could commit with their British passport after dodging a question like “who was king of England at the time of the Norman invasion in 1066?”

The conference used fishing as some kind of concession sweetner,.and in favour of the EU which we have dumped…so more alarm bells.
Every fisherman I have seen on tv in every part of the UK (my news source) has profusely criticised this deal…and described it as betrayl, sell out, livliehood threatened.etc etc.
These guys are an authority on the industry, they are in the thick of it… so they KNOW what they are talking about.
On the other hand…
