It’s blatantly obvious the government and former government want the cross channel passengers to get over to England, so why don’t they just charter ferries, cruise ships and the navy to pick everyone one of them up in Northern France and be done with it?
Failing that build a pedestrian tunnel or over head foot bridge that’s high enough for the tallest ships in the world to get underneath, in the busiest shipping lane in the world.

Well Johnson got us a crap deal then, and it was a time limited crap deal at that. No one has gotten a much better deal, and if the fisherman are doing badly it is because trying to repair some of Johnson’s mistakes is at a price. Unfortunately someone has to pay.
