gogzy:

routier:
he just hasnt got over being an ex trucker! How ridiculous, what purpose will that serve ?

You will hear on Sally Traffic “High Speed Police Chase, Police Scania chases Volvo Globetrotter!”

pathetic. what a waste of taxpayers money.

Police will be advertising for Truckers next!

haha can just picture it now being brought up on tv interupting corrie or something lol.
and after half an hour of overtaking the police scania is now 3 feet infront of the volvo…oh wait the volvo has suddenly shot off infront of the police truck

Fella, me sides are killin me, laffin me head off at the thought!!!

at least ye have a sense of humour my friend!

This is going to be covered on ITV CENTRAL during the next 30 mins

Myself and the great Lee G had the idea for this many months ago, I feel that the Police should at least acknowledge us for stealing our idea, our plan was to use it to detect those idiots in cars who put others lives at risk by acting like ■■■■■■ And before someone says ‘The Police had the idea for this months/years ago’ ■■■■■■■■ they robbed me and Lee of our money making plan and passed it off as their own creation :imp:

He’ll be on here next, doing a diary ‘‘a week in the life of’’ linked to utube videos from the truck he’s uploaded :grimacing:

WTF with you ? bit of banter, ye not got a sense of humour ?

He does seem a bit argumentative.:open_mouth:

Come on, I don’t get it.

Can anyone explain it to me?

Why they have to use HGV to film drivers? Can’t they use one of these telescopic CCTV cameras instead?

It would be much cheaper to drive these for sure… And not as easy to spot…

The Highway Man:
Put a big trailer on all fitted out with cells and i’m pretty sure it could carry a lot more detainees than a police van can.

But isn’t it illegal to carry people in trailers?

I know, I tried to answer with another one… Obviously it wasn’t good

This has been in operation over here in Germany for quite
a few years now they use, mobile-caravans , coaches etc to
catch offenders, who ever and what ever they drive be it a car
bus, lorry van etc., ask those who visit Germany regularly.

I second that Phil but in germany you know they are doing that whereas over here someone has had to leak it as per usual.

Beleive me, they are very easy to spot…They have me on camera giving them the finger several times in the last week alone in London, I even hassled one for suddenly turning right, gave him the hooters and the finger for causing delay to me and other motorists…They are usually driven by the positively discriminated advantaged and they can`t drive for toffee, period

depends just where you are i guess

I agree with those who say its pointless having it marked up in Police livery.

I foresee an increase of tassled side window curtains pulled well forward.

Mr nairn is a jumped up little twit who takes great pleasure in screwing drivers to the wall in his own little world of i am judge and jury and ive had the pleasure a few times at perry bar arguing with him. Last time he told the ministry lady to charge me with no weekly rest shown on my cards and when he dissapeared back up the motorway with his pre menstrual blonde sidekick i was cationed in the office only to be let on my merry way once i taught her how to read my cards!! Her words were why did he ask my to charge you? My words were if he spent more time on his job and checking the detail rather than looking at the name on the door to mean i was guilty then we wouldnt be having this conversation!! Happy trucking mr nairn lets hope no one falls asleep and side swipes you while on camera :unamused:

its strange that whilst it is well documented that the Police are massivley failing to record crimes and thus investigate them, they also refuse to come out and investigate an accident even when reported unless someone is hurt. How they justify ‘investigating’ drivers when there is no reported crime i.e just on the off chance they may spot a ‘crime’ is beyond me. Why don’t they just train the camera straight ahead too, so they can catch tailgaters, dangerous drivers etc. if they are so concerned about safety?

That’s the thing, this isn’t about safety, it’s the same as the ‘safety’ cameras, they’re all about generating revenue :unamused: :imp:

ROG:
I applaud this tactic IF it is being used to catch unsafe practices by ALL drivers.

:unamused: …“IF” nothing !!! Another low act by the POLICE in the UK and another stupid comment on here.

TRUCKING FORUM MY ARSE

hiya,
Never mind ellies dad 99.5% of us do agree with you that does’nt leave much of a threat from the remaining “in favour” forum.

Would the amount of revenue obtained from this be enough to cover the running costs
If it doesn’t then the argument for such fails…
If it does then there must be a lot of drivers breaking the rules out there !!

he used to have his own lorries and he made the drivers run bent all the time just shows you its a small world

That’s a serious allegation to make on here. You have solid evidence to prove that do you?

(I’ll bet you don’t)
