People who have gone on to do advanced driver training etc never seem to shut up about it.
I’m not referencing anybody in particular here, it’s just an observation I’ve made over time…
Ok fair enough but why does that bother you? I take it from your comment you have never done anymore than sit your basic tests.
Let me try to help you understand a few things about further training and advanced training as you put it.
The basic car and basic LGV tests are exactly what they are…basic tests…ie they get you the licence with the minimum of time and training especially in latter years.There was a time when drivers were actually taught something driving an LGV but now and for quite a few years are just taught to pass the test.
After passing these tests is the time drivers are meant to start learning and of course most do but at the same time they tend to develop bad driving habits and start to believe they know it all and they are the best.
I understand everybody cannot afford to pay for extra training or have the time to do it but I can assure you with most drivers it will make a big difference to their standard of driving.
Of course there are some who will never make good drivers.Either they have no natural ability or quite often there attitude dictates the way they drive.These types will never change.
I class myself as very lucky as I have never had to pay for any extra training being involved in it for so long but I can assure you it has made me a far better driver and probably made me realise how bad some others are.

Thought so…no opinion probably because you know I am correct.
In case you do not realise I do not like bad driving especially from lorries and so when Kevin came along(seems like a nice guy that made a schoolboy error) and admitted he did something a bit silly I gave my opinion.
Do you like to see bad driving?
Are you one of the baddies?
Do you like seeing your fellow workers injuring themselves and worse everyday?
Do you like the thought that the general public despise us because there are so many bully boy truck drivers out there?
COS I DONT…GET IT…I am not a biased truck driver like yourself that only sees fault with others.

The main problem is some people do not like hearing the truth
What people are trying to get at is that they have heard it enough from YOU.
Every post you type, even in subjects that don’t have any relation to driving you have to mention it. Troll springs to mind, or someone with a chip they can’t get rid off
