Don’t worry about it Kevin. You can say the sky is blue and some posters will say it isn’t. Then tomorrow you can say it’s not blue and they will say it is. They just like to disagree. Don’t feed the trolls

Come on then muckaway.Lets hear your expert opinion on the situation instead of a typical mickey like reply!
If you think I am talking gibberish at least have the decency to explain why…
It’s the same recycled anti lorry driver ramblings again…
Thought so…no opinion probably because you know I am correct.
In case you do not realise I do not like bad driving especially from lorries and so when Kevin came along(seems like a nice guy that made a schoolboy error) and admitted he did something a bit silly I gave my opinion.
Do you like to see bad driving?
Are you one of the baddies?
Do you like seeing your fellow workers injuring themselves and worse everyday?
Do you like the thought that the general public despise us because there are so many bully boy truck drivers out there?
COS I DONT…GET IT…I am not a biased truck driver like yourself that only sees fault with others.
He didn’t FORCE you to do anything. He was probably driving like a but if a knob but he didn’t MAKE you break the law.
Why not just take a breath out it down to experience smile and crack on rather than letting but eat away at you so much that you come in here belly aching?
Why does every thread decent into two people ■■■■■■■■ at each other?
Albion can be a knob at times but why feed his tendencies?
So Tipper Tom…I am a knob because I do not like bad driving that causes many deaths every year.
I would love to come on here and say how good most truck drivers were but that is not really the truth…is it?
Some are as bad if not worse than everyone else especially as they are meant to be professionals…(what a joke that is these days)
I do not like seeing bad lorry driving anymore than you but at least I do not go around thinking the sun shines out of every truck drivers a**s.
Maybe he has to drive 40 on that road as he is speed monitored, you like lots of other lorry drivers maybe want to go from Carlisle to Hexham on the limiter. He may have felt that the gap between the rear of the trailer and you was dangerously short.
I can’t say, I wasn’t there, but it is a possible explanation. I always do 40 throughout that section and receive abuse from fellow lorry drivers when the dual carriage way begins in Hexham. I don’t pull into lay-bys to let people past as it isn’t fuel or time efficient. I make the best progress I can without breaking any laws.

It’s not what you say it’s how you say it
Do you mean in a glass half empty kinda way
More like in a moan moan moan whinge whinge whinge and keep on kinda way
Albion just out of interest during your driving career have u ever made a mistake?. I ask because you come across as the worlds perfect driver, slate every wrong decision or bad bit of driving that anyone dares to admit. I ask because I like to class myself as one of the good drivers, I’m courteous, I treat my lorry and its capabilities to seriously hurt anything it touches with the up most respect I plan ahead and try my absolute best to avoid a bad situation before its even developed but ■■■■ me do I make the odd mistake. Some of them are right humdingers as well but it doesn’t make me a poor driver yet if heaven for bid you saw me on a roundabout in the wrong lane or having to stop at a set of lights because I hadn’t planned well in advance to save stopping you would think I’m the worlds biggest cretin. I don’t believe you or anyone else is whiter than white and hasn’t made the odd mistake along the way.
Oh I am so sorry Tom…I will try to be nice next time when I whinge but I do not see the funny side of some of the idiocy that goes on daily on our roads.
The main problem is some people do not like hearing the truth.
Karl86 sorry but a perfect driver will never exist.Of course I have made mistakes but I have learned from them most of them.
Being involved in training for many years as well as driving has helped me enormously with my driving standards having been assessed many many times by proper professionals.I have never stopped learning.
Nice to hear you say you take pride in your driving because it is very apparent so many do not these days.
Not only do drivers make the same errors day after day but there appears to be a very arrogant attitude that goes with bad driving as well.A very selfish one as well.
Sorry if I come across the way I do but I promise I am not like that in real life.
We are all knobs and bad drivers at some point, at least, to some one who does not know you fluffed a gear change or your truck has a problem or your completely lost or maybe the guy in front is a newbie…who knows?
This stuff happens, well admittedly (and will in future) its happened to me and I try and placate the problem by trying to catch the eye of the driver I may have possibly upset and mouthing sorry or waving a thank you.
We all have the same issues in similar jobs, understand and accept that stuff happens, just most don’t admit it
macci:
I love it when I hear the " We should be paid £10’s of pounds an hour as we’re pro drivers" and yet the very same from the indusrty slag em off"
Well done all…
Like I’ve said many a time on this forum. I’ve paid my wife to do her class two so she can partake in her equine interest. Taking horses and livestock to shows etc
If your a pro driver and take offence of that your job really isn’t that hard then so be it.
kevinm1984:
not at all but the point i was trying to get across was the fact he was indicating that it was clear to pass when he knows fine well im not allowed to overtake
That’s your assumption that he was indicating it was clear to pass, or did you actually communicate telepathically with the Argos driver?
