Nice to hear a family business doing well for a change. I worked with Ray 20 yrs ago at Gullivers Transport Services. Ray was pals with Mark one of the Cardiff boys. I transferred from the transport side to truck rental manager in Cardiff. Seems like yesterday.Pete, you may want to keep that bike close to the office, because when he gets home he will want to discuss the not well educated bit, lol.
Ha Ha - I will - One of the bikes is Rays, But he is not as quick as me !!!
heres my old gal. my first truck and my present mainly running on containers and some low loader work.
looking forward to you lot ripping the ■■■■ out of me. pmsl
looks in good nic for its age…
The Ray White trucks look very smart IMO. Nice to see a small fleet making it in todays “massive or nothing” haulage industry.
Mind you even with ‘only’ 18 wagons i wouldn’t like to pay their fuel bill for a week. Got to be looking at 175quid per day? Thats about 16k aweek in diesel!

it’s a nice truck at a reasonable price but remember It’s 10 years old, the mileage is unknown and it’s only a 4x2 ( which is the reason for sale)

hi all, no im not selling up just time for a change, i do the odd bit of low loader work for a local company but im limited at wot he can give me coz of the weight, he said he could give me more work if i was 44t and he pays a ■■■■ site more than containers and he lets me use his trailers for free and pays me weekly with no penaltys, so ive advertised the old gal. as for my truck shes a pearler, the kms are 831000 and are genuine according to keltruck, it was owned by the truck sales place i bought it from for 2 year pulling in empty trailers from the auctions to there yard and before that a company in bury for 4 year on warbartons hauling bread to supermarkets so its had an easy life for the past 6 years prior to me buying it, ive been doing 1700 to 2000 mile a week in it and the only problem ive had is a water pump and an alternator, so i cant grumble at it, its a cracking motor with bags of life left in it, in an ideal world id like to keep it and sit it in the corner of the garage looking pretty but funds and circumstances prevent me from doing it, ive also quoted a few local companys about doing there maintenence for them if this comes off il be keeping the unit as my (shunter) for taking trailers for test and il rent the trailer out for £60 per week.
ps, if anybody wants any maintenance work doing in the mansfield to newark area pm me
sounds a good idea to me, bit of driving and repair work as well hope it works out for you!!
