is that also an ex porter/abn from flixboro? ive probably worked on that when we serviced them. my godfather had your trailer when it was new ive probably washed it a few times down the line. is it a good trailer?

Its a very good trailer went straight through test a couple of weeks ago no mither at all.Im right pleased with it. Foden is ex porters me mate has got a 53 reg one that was theirs as well. They have been looked after well.

The Ray White trucks look very smart IMO. Nice to see a small fleet making it in todays “massive or nothing” haulage industry.Mind you even with ‘only’ 18 wagons i wouldn’t like to pay their fuel bill for a week. Got to be looking at 175quid per day? Thats about 16k aweek in diesel!
£40k a fortnight on fuel and tolls !!!
That’s some bill. very nice motors indeed.
Just to let you know, thee company i pull for has about 1000 trucks every day on the road, with about 300 in service, rest times, or other things, and the company’s bill is about £200k a day, so don’t feel too bad. hehe.

the article that you are referring to was not actually about me 
it was an article that my mother did about women truck drivers in the early to mid eighties, when they were few and far between, and some of the experiences that she had whilst driving trucks
near the end of the article, she mentioned that i was now an o/d and included a pic of my first truck, a blue/white DAF XF superspace on a 51 plate 
(wish i still had that truck now instead of one of the others
