Peterborough open day - free

What times are you open from?

The postcode is PE7 3PX

Open from 10 - 4 Saturday 20th Sept.

Pete

that’s cool I might pop along and have a play in the bendy thing if you don’t mind just for the experience.

No problem. You’re very welcome. Pete

There seems to be a demand for assessments on the day. So far as possible we’ll do this, but anyone wanting an on-road assessment must produce both parts of their licence carrying the provisional entitlement for the vehicle being requested.

Anyone wanting to take advantage of this is probably better off coming at the start of play, but folks are welcome at any time and we’ll do our very best to accommodate.

Just hoping for some sun now!

Pete

I still live locally I can fit in anytime so I will bob up first thing I can always call back later in the day :grimacing:

So if I wanted to have a play on the road I’d need a C+E on my paper bit?

So if I wanted to have a play on the road I’d need a C+E on my paper bit?

You’re right. Anyone wanting to go out on the road must be able to produce their plastic and paper parts of their driving licence showing the correct provisional entitlement.

Failing which, anyone is welcome to a “go” on our private land.

Pete

Looks like I’m going bombing around the airfield. Is there any guarantee that the artic will be available? I’m traveling from Lincoln so its a bit of a hike.

Shouldn’t be a problem as long as you’re prepared to wait if it’s in use when you arrive. But the café and bar is open (for soft drinks of course!).

Look forward to seeing you, Pete

How are you going to address that when the counterpart gets scrapped on 01/01/2015

I’m planning on coming over from Manchester, so happy to wait and watch until a slot comes up to have a go! Will be first time in a wagon so will get an initial idea of the amount of training I will need.

I’ll worry about that if the Open Day doesn’t finish on time! For these purposes, both parts of the licence (with the paper part showing the appropriate provisional entitlement) need to be produced if anyone wishes to go on road.

Look forward to meeting you; bring your provisional if you’ve got it. If not, you can still have a “go” on the airfield.

Pete

I’m thinking of bringing a friend along with me, he only has a car license. Does he need to have his paper part if he just wants to drive it round the airfield?

I think Pete said only if you want to go on the road. The airfield is private land so you don’t need any licence!

That’s correct. Pete

Hi Pete,

I’m hoping to come along Saturday for a go in the arctic. I’ve just passed my class C today so this is very well timed. Look forward to meeting you.

Steve (Aka honk)

Look forward to that Steve; it will be off road as you wont have provisional CE (or it’s highly unlikely). But at least you’ll get some feel of what it’s like. Pete

thanks for a great day pete really enjoyed the artic and glad that i signed up with the right training provider.

See you soon!
