Where do you suggest the plant moves to? Are you willing to reimburse them the cost of moving? No didn’t think so. Perhaps it would be a cheaper and easier option for you to move. Mr Nimby.

I have first hand knowledge of this and many other rendering plants from when I was hauling BSE contaminated offal and bone meal to them.
Not only do I not care about the assault on your nasal passages, as I live in a very nice house, far from any foul odours and a good portion of the money which paid for my house was earned by driving past your house in my lorry full of guts and snot.

If the plant is indeed closing down as you suggest, then the waste will simply be taken somewhere else for processing, it won’t just vanish into thin air.
We were loading tallow from Exeter, the production of it is being moved to another site in Widnes, there are rumours that it may start again in Exeter but don’t know for sure.

We try out best with the smell and improvemts have been made a lot from 20 years ago for instance we now have to run with a sheet over our trailers to try and stop the smell. People complain the smell is bad for you but infact it’s a smell that is good for you and doesn’t effect you in any way it’s a little like country air.
How can you say that the stench from these lorries is good for you.It might be good for you but i don’t want it in my lungs.How can you state “it is good for you” on what evidence?
Show me the scientific proof that it is good for and has no adverse effects on long term health!
What little bit of the stench is like country air?Glad i don’t have to breath the same country air that you do.
