Once I was made to pay for the damage I did not made… But they just wanted excuse to do not pay me money they owed to me…
Off course there was nothing like that (there was only about damage caused maliciously) so I went to Employment Tribunal and won everythin back… Greetings to boy from former McLellan’s Transport.
In my current job, I went forward after I went to the ditch in Norway. I felt quilty as they told me to go around and I wanted to go via the hills, as I just love to drive on snow. And I was enjoying myself slightly too much
Not that it was really my fault (i just learned hard way, that when you switch traction control in Sprinters, they are not switched off, but put on stand by and when computer thinks that it’s danger, it switches itself on again - so so much for drifting
)
We agreed that I will pay 10% of total costs involved.
Can you please translate this into English please?
Reads fine to me, maybe you’re the problem.

Went for an interview about 5yrs ago at a firm near my house, wages were [zb] AND it had 1 of these ‘accident excess’ policies in place. Didn’t take the job offered.
Mate of mine was working for a firm, it got took over by another firm, new T+C’s included an accident waiver for fault accidents, he got charged it once then had it removed, told him to have it removed as soon as it appeared, but he was cocky ‘I don’t have accidents’ type, his 1st was about 2 weeks after this appeared, clipped a car whilst blind side backing into a delivery with a ‘banksman’
It’s not a case of those that have accidents deserve it, as soon as it appears, people have bumps.
in that case, it is not the drivers fault, that accident is down to the banksman, he is responsible
if a site operates a banksman on safety grounds, then all accidents/mishaps that happen whilst the banksman is giving the driver instruction is down to the company that the banksman works for and not the driver or his company

givme his number
Why? Who do you think you are or can do?? Are you ‘that special’■■? Tool.
As for the OP, if you go back ‘home’ you won’t have to pay, simples.

Nope… And I know this because when I was on Roadways, I was collecting from a yard that did aggregate, scrap metal and other stuff, and you was loaded under the conveyor for the agregate.
You weren’t aloud out of the vehicle once past the weigh bridge, so on the weighbridge, then over to get loaded, then reverse - with a banksman - back to weighbridge.
Banksman guided me over a boulder, he didn’t think anything of it, but it trapped my mudflap between the boulder and the wheel, about 30t on the trailer so the mudguard just peeled off.
Got back to yard, got a right bollocking for it, explained we’re not aloud out of the truck and I was guided back etc, boss said “the truck is YOUR responsibility, nobody elses, if in doubt, stop get out and look”
I said, why would there be any doubt, I’ve a trained banksman guiding me back, didn’t see anything on way in that could do any damage, the boulder wasn’t visible in my mirror etc.
Report in file
‘by boulder, it would’ve been around 18" maybe, came to about 4" into the mudflap, could see the indentation mark’
