Hiya Bob Lad, I hope that you are O.K. I think that this may be the link that you need unless it’s been updated.

Once you get the hang of it then it’s much easier than using photobucket.
By the way Dean, the Schreiber furniture T.K. was probably from their depot in Trafford Park although I think that they may of had a depot in Hazlemere.
Cheers “mushroomman” always nice to see a mighty Bedford !!

Well done Bob Lad.
I have just sent you a P.M. explaining how to do it.
I never met Steve Greenwood but my brother used to speak highly of him.
I did pass his yard several years ago while we were over in the U.K. and took a couple of photos, Carl was there at the time washing his Scania.

Thanks for the pic’s “mushroomman” tidy Scania and Marathon !
Mark R:
Superb photos today… Especially the two Atki’s, P& A Haulage & J & J Mackin. My dad drove one exactly the same for Breakers Transport of Sittingbourne
Thanks “Mark R” always nice when Paul and Mark’s photos bring back good memories !

Bewick:
The J & J Makin Atkinson is interesting, it would have been a Silver Knight judging by the J reg plate, It would have been a few years after this shot when I bought their fleet after J. Bibby & Son PLC bought them out in 1985. I didn’t know how big their fleet strength was in earlier years but IIRC I acquired about 6 motors and 3 of their drivers and the Foreman joined Bewick Transport, the others took redundancy ( we got the best of the bunch
) good action shot though, excellent ! Cheers Bewick.
Thanks for your comments Dennis !

Hiya Baz , hope you are keeping well mate ! No doubt you will remember the Makin fleet but I just bet you didn’t like seeing them at the Flint mill
I recall that the little Irish fella John ? didn’t like Makins own motors but apparently the Makin Transport manager ( Jack Thompson ?) used to “impose” their own motors onto the Flint Mill from time to time, but you will know more about that than me Baz ! Cheers and kind Regards Mr. Bewick.
Thanks for your comments Dennis !
