Hi Dean.
The Renault is pulling a NG and SF trailer, who were yeast manufacturers.
I haven’t seen one of them for donkey’s years.
And I think the red DAF artic is one of John J Potts who I think were from Lancashire.

Hobbs Fuels used to be in Monk Meadow Dock, right next door to Cotswold Petroleum, whom I had the pleasure of working at for almost a week! Clapped Bedford TK artic with a full load of fuel, hardly any brakes, cab door tied on with string, you get the picture!

The red DAF would be John J Potts. I think they are - or were - from Warrington area. I used to haul timber out of North Wales to Wigan back in 1970 and regularly used to see their lorries.

Spotted the reg. no. on this Don Bush Routeman tipper and realised it was the same wagon I drove for a few years in the mid 80’s.It was operated by a demolition company in Kingston-on-Thames.
Is there any way to find out if this is an old photo taken prior to this ,or is it a more recent restoration.

Hello “M50” Looking at the pics either side of that Routeman in the photo folder i would say that pic was taken very
early 80’s. If it had not been for the RHM Roadtrain i would have said 1970’s but the Roadtrain came out in 1980.

I know we have more pics of Don Bush Routeman’s so will see if they are that reg and pop them on.

Pics either side.
