Thanks to everyone for there comments and photos over the last couple of days much appreciated by Paul and myself.

Now Paul has sent me some new photos.

Probably have about 2000 of the older photos and then there was a period where Paul could not afford to take the photos
and have them developed due to life. Buying a house, getting married and having kids. Therefore he did not start to take
photos again until the late 1990s to the present day.

He has kindly sent me just over 300 of the newer pics which as he says are not as good as the normal ones as he had a new
camera that was a bit naff. Apparently the first digital camera were not that good for quality. Hopefully the newer pics will
still be of intrest.

I will pop some of these on and you will see that the quality is not as good as the older ones, however they do improve again
when he changed this camera.

There is a possibility that in the future we may be able to get some more photos from Mark.

Some of the newer pics.

I would say the 143 was an old Ralph Davies truck
JB Wheatons are still going strong

DCP_0854p.JPGKen Abram Ltd ceased trading in March 2006.
Accounts filed for the year ending July 2004 show that Ken Abram Ltd made a pre-tax profit of just over £10,000.
Despite that the firm paid out a £70,020 dividend to its sole shareholder — parent company Ken Abram (Holdings) which drove it into the red.
Commercial Motor Article from 2006

The firm was set up in 1962 and throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s Its distinctive red, yellow and white livery was a familiar sight around the country with the company employing around 70 drivers.

They even attended truck shows such as Truckfest in 1995 with this Renault Magnum.
Sad end to a long story

Or possibly one of the Gilders clan? Gloster plates though for sure.

Another one of the same era as Paul’s photo courtesy of Len Rogers.

Thanks Rob for confirming that Wheaton’s are still going.I was not sure as i have not seen one for ages.

Its definately not a Ralph Davies ex motor unless it was a cancelled order. I know its his colours but the only G reg ones
he had were G99 XAD and G100 XAD.

looks like its running on larger wheels/tyres ■■? :unamused:
