No Hades, the problem is with the drivers that can’t negotiate round them safely. Ask any traffic cop who they think are the dangerous ones and it won’t be the car in lane one doing 50 mph.
Just to make my point a little clearer ask yourself the speed of the average LGV. The speed differential is minimal and the two vehicles can be driven safely at these speeds when drivers leave safe gaps and anticipate.
