Probably only driving on the M6 because she absolutely has to for whatever reason and professional driver with his 2 lane options for an overtake is doing his best to intimidate her into going faster with the size of his vehicle. And this bully could move his goods quick. He had 2 available lanes to perform a safe overtake…
So, any idea which lane we’re talking about here, outside 4th lane or hard shoulder whether running lane or not, all other lanes blocked, any other reasons mr tailgater couldn’t simply overtake? ie was our senior citizen hogging the overtaking lane, any lane that is apart from the nearside lane , or riding to the rear three quarter of another vehicle so effectively reducing the motorway to the speed of the slowest vehicle on the road for those not allowed in the outside lane?
I dislike tailgaters as much or more than anyone by the way, and hope when they do hit something up the arse its a fully freighted 44 tonner so they themselves learn the reasons why this isn’t a good a idea, but taken a snapshot of a moment its entirely possible there’s more to this than meets the eye.
I have nothing against people travelling at 50mph that’s their right, so long as they don’t try and dictate to everyone else how the roads should be driven, just overtake them and carry on, but if overtaking a car doing 50 on a motorway is too difficult then it suggests the overtaker is the one who should be taken off the road.
He never posts evidence from his ■■■■■■ like dashcam. So what chance we got.
He just dribbles manure trying to justify why he drives the way he drives.

I used to drive my car up and down the motorways regularily before moving to Holland and I usually lost count of the number of trucks tailgaiting other vehicles. Yes cars do it as well.
At least Juddian gives a decent reply but the usual army of childish comments are there everytime.

It’s not so much the tailgating it’s the fact I felt sorry for this old lady that had billy big ■■■■■■■■ 1 car length from her back. She probably didn’t want to me there as it was but maybe had no another reasonable route option.

Agree that’s what any decent driver would do but big bully boy in his truck does not have the intelligence to realise it might be an old lady or a new driver with little experience.
It should not matter who is driving the car nor what has gone on before (if anything) Mr bully boy is totally in the wrong and needs dealt with.

What do you want us to say/do? It’s an every night occurrence, I see it several times a night (and no, not out of my windscreen). The roads are full of crap drivers, lorry, coach and car. But theres squat I can do about it. I crack on, dont get involved and worry about my own driving. I cant speak for everyone on this forum obviously, but I’d hazard a guess that nearly all of them do the same.

Newsflash for Rowley and all your alter-egos - ALL drivers are supposed to drive in a professional manner whether driving a DAF 500 or Fiat 500.
