Looks smashing, not a fan of the illuminated headboard though. I appreciate its ex Comart & was a Stoke lorry origionaly but why’s it in Shirleys colours? Nice paint & livery Shirleys is mind.

Seems a fair enough answer Chap not trying to diss it or nothing of the kind, glad to see its being looked after. Needs a load of road dirt an an old tilt up its chuff IMHO.
NZ JAMIE:
Mornin fellas,
I’ll have to get a copy of this magazine. Here’s an other magazine cutting of Pat Seal from an old Truck & Driver magazine, the beard is a bit longer and the shirts changed colour.
A couple of blokes I had a lot of time for in my learning curve. Pat, the gentle giant and John the, come on lets get ■■■■■■ type. The restored 88 looks lovely but what a shame it could not have been restored as Pats memorial. You will never come across another Pat Seals, you may find another F88

I’m with you there mate, it looks a cracker, but it looked better when it was unrestored and earning a living, same as the Astran 141 that never was, it would look a million times better with a coating of dirt and a spread axle tilt on the back
Its great its still in England & we hope a good home but I must agree why a headboard to help rot the roof out also the blue would have been nicer. We all had the chance to buy her & didnt so we shouldn’t complane (I did try but couldn’t get through to the seller)
Cheers Rich Happy F88ing
the truck does have Pat’s name on the back of the cab as a bit of a tribute to hthe man himself
