Put this Photo on before but always good to see these . Dads motor when he worked for Powerscreen and his last Motor before his Heart Attack . He drove the BET Truck into Dover Hosp A & E dept parked in the Car Park walked into A & E and had a massive Heart Attack, end of his driving days . The nurse said when I got down there lucky to be alive only thing that saved him ,he had his heart attack in here , Oh and could you move that thing out of the Car Park please

Hello Oily and Buzzer ,Parrys had about 10 of those mammoth Majors some coupled up to a drawbar ,back then they were doing a lot of Irish cattle from Fishguard and Holyhead ,i believe they had their own holding pens at Fishguard ,thank you Trevor

You are right, its a bit odd on a 3+3 outfit.
It must be something to do with the 5th wheel position
or to accommodate a long ‘nosed’ trailer.
This monstrosity operated by Christian Salvesen for a while
and seen at their Easton depot 13 July 88 could not have
had a sleeper. The front overhang when turning was frightening.
Here’s one in the eye for modern electric vehicle, this is a shot of battery powered commercial vehicles being charged up overnight at St Pancras station 1917, Buzzer.
No idea of the make, but they must have been a delight to drive.
I saw this old beauty last week, it was absolutely immaculate. It had a 400 big cam ■■■■■■■■ 13spd double overdrive and air ride rear axles, not exactly how it left the factory, but common upgrades according to the owner.
