I know Ive posted these RIO SPEED WAGONS before, they belonged to my great uncle Isaac Smiles, Are there anymore photos about of these, they seemed to be very popular in those days, Regards Larry, Photo with the courtesey of My Cousin Diane Smiles.

For Larry Dunbar, REO, stands for Ransom E Olds who started the firm in Lansing, Michigan in 1904 and produced bus and truck chassis also cars between 1905 and 1975.
Harris and Hassell of Brislington, Bristol, a haulage firm started in 1914 were the importers of REO chassis and engines from US beginning in1923 and in 1926 because of import duty they started making their own chassis but still imported the engines, it would seem that most of the production was buses, this info is from Grace’s Guide as are the photos.
I have other pics yet to be sorted.
