It’s a Dromedary configuration, the late Martin Phippard wrote an excellent paper on trailer types, including “drome” semis, in correspondence I had with him he sent me some of his photos which included at least one example. guess what I can’t find them they were quite popular in the States years back
An up to date Scandinavian example to be going on with.

Hi Patrick, Canada, USA, Sweden and Australia and at least one example in the UK of an ICI Atkinson tanker of which there is a pic somewhere on Trucknet.

Don’t know but a tasty sleeper cab, Buzzer.

Just the two, ERF for Robert ERF NGC, cheers Buzzer.
That ERF was driven by Johnny Heath. It was the only LHD one, the other 14 in the fleet being RHD. It’s a 5MW-cabbed MGR or more likely MCR. The M = metal cab; the G = special export type but I think this one was just a LHD sleeper cab which would carry a C coding; and the R = Rolls lump, in this case a 220 with a 10-sp Fuller. Cheers! Robert
Thanks to kevmac47, Buzzer, CJA1 and DEANB for the pics
the transporters are loaded with Volvo 760s nicknamed “volvo tanks” built like and almost as unwieldy.

This is just a bit cute, pic thanks to Peter Schöler.
